Columbia Basin College Overview
The Phlebotomy curriculum is a two-quarter sequence of classes focusing on the knowledge and skills necessary to function as a member of a laboratory healthcare team in a variety of settings. This training fulfills the Washington State Department of Health (DOH) requirements necessary to be certified as a healthcare professional in a category of Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist.
Students that successfully complete both courses will receive a Certificate of Completion from CBC with academic credit and comment on their transcript.
