Clarendon College Overview
This class is the didactic and clinical portion of a program that leads to the CPT National Examination of Phlebotomy Technician. Phlebotomists are trained to draw blood samples by venipuncture, or arterial collection for medical tests and blood donations. Phlebotomists must adhere to strict policies and procedures while treating the patient with care. Length of clinical depends on individual scheduling and attendance. This course will prepare the student to take the National Certification Exam for certification.
