Hillyard Technical Center Overview
This program is for students who want to work on refrigeration, air conditioning or heating units and systems for cooling and heating contractors, fuel oil dealers, school systems, or manufacturing plants. Students will learn soldering and brazing, basic electrical, electrical controls for HVACR, air conditioning theory, assembly, and troubleshooting issues inside the system, and treatment and conditioning of the air surrounding the environment. Students will likewise learn basic sheet metal procedures.
