General requirements for an HVAC contractor license?
• Class A – must provide $300,000 per occurrence and $300,000 aggregate liability insurance.
• Class B – must provide $100,000 per occurrence and $100,000 aggregate liability insurance.
• Both classes – must have 48 months of practical air conditioning and refrigeration experience under the supervision of a licensed air conditioning and refrigeration contractor ; both classes must also submit a certificate of insurance to the state.
