General requirements for a physical therapist license?

• Physical therapy school. A qualified physical therapist must have graduated from a school of physical therapy accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Physical Therapy Education or approved successor organization
• Meet statutory requirements. Any person making application to the State Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision for a license as a Physical Therapist or a Physical Therapist Assistant shall be eligible for the appropriate license if he/she meets the requirements as provided in the Oklahoma law relating to the practice of Physical Therapy.
• Licensure by examination, Any applicant for licensure as a Physical Therapist must pass an examination.
