An Overview of California Youth Soccer Association

Since its inception in 1969, Cal North has grown to be one of the largest state youth soccer organizations in the United States, counting more than 163,000 players annually, ages 4-19, and over 42,000 administrators, coaches and volunteers in 132 member leagues of registration. Cal North is dedicated to assisting parents in developing youth as individuals and not just soccer players in a fun, safe and healthy environment for players at every level of the game.

How to Join California Youth Soccer Association

To join, visit the website linked below. Any adult rostered on a Cal North sanctioned team is required to have an approved background check conducted by the California Department of Justice, which reports criminal history, and subsequent arrests in the state of California.
