Baseball has grown in popularity since the introduction of Major League Baseball in 1869. Associations have formed over time to represent those professionals in the sport, and to help regulate and promote ongoing learning and career opportunities. Associations allow individuals to come together and create a unified voice, offer support and advice to both new and experienced coaches, and the creation, collaboration and sharing of baseball resources.
