An Overview of American Phlebotomy Association (APA)

APA is a non-governmental national credentialing agency. Our goals are to maintain high standards, and to continue to educate and promote awareness. The American Phlebotomy Association was established to promote national standards in National Certification for Phlebotomists, Clinical Research Assistant, Medical Laboratory Assistants, Medical Assistant, EKG Technician, Patient Care Technician, and Health Care Instructor. The medical field is the country’s fastest growing segment. Providing high standards through national certification is our goal. A.P.A was created for today’s healthcare professionals to continue to elevate educational standards via certification.
