This academy promotes learning by doing. With individualized instruction, students learn from experienced groomers.
Upon completion of the coursework, you will be prepared to build up your own customer base. The academy draws from professional groomers in the New York metropolitan area. Training includes field excursions to nearby shops, the AKC Library, the Westminster Dog Show, and Intergroom Show. Ultimately, though, you will learn by doing.
