This month, we’re proud to spotlight Cybill, a passionate entrepreneur whose journey blends business acumen, lifelong love of dogs, and a bold leap into a purpose-driven career.

Cybill’s story with dogs began long before she ever imagined turning that passion into a profession. Growing up, she helped raise a variety of family dogs, learning early on the responsibility and joy that comes with building a strong bond between humans and their canine companions. Over time, she discovered a special connection with Golden Retrievers, and for the past five years, she has dedicated herself to raising and training them with care, structure, and love.

Before entering the dog training world full-time, Cybill built a successful career in business and service. She spent many years developing a thriving travel planning and tour guide business in the Central Florida tourism industry, helping visitors create memorable experiences. After relocating to Georgia in 2020, she expanded her entrepreneurial path by launching a wealth advising firm and building a career in food and beverage management with the Atlanta Braves.

Despite her success, Cybill felt drawn toward more meaningful work that aligned with her personal values and lifelong passion for dogs. That calling became clear when she discovered the training philosophy behind Sit Means Sit. The methodology resonated deeply with her belief that dogs and their owners deserve a relationship built on clarity, trust, and confidence.

Inspired by this approach, Cybill made a bold decision. She stepped away from her service career and put her wealth advising work on hold to focus entirely on building a business dedicated to helping dogs and families thrive together.

Today, Cybill channels her entrepreneurial drive and training expertise into transforming relationships between dogs and their owners. Her mission is simple but powerful: create happier, more controlled, and more confident dogs while helping families experience the freedom and fulfillment that comes from true communication with their pets.

Cybill is joined by her husband and co-owner, Patrick, whose lifelong experience with retrievers helped shape the heart of the business. When he and Cybill discovered Sit Means Sit, they saw the opportunity to share their love for dogs with others and never looked back.

Together, they’ve built a family business centered on helping people and their dogs live better lives together. By combining their business background, leadership skills, and genuine love for dogs, they continue to inspire families to build stronger bonds with their furry companions every day. 🐾
