Pop Warner Overview
The goal at Pop Warner is to ensure coaches are certified by USA Football to teach proper blocking and tackling techniques in a better and safer way.
Here are the basic steps for your local Pop Warner Associations to register for USA Football Coach Certification:
1.) Association President/Commissioner becomes a free member of USA Football.
2.) President/Commissioner completes a brief online application to register the organization with Heads Up Football℠.
3.) Within the application, each local Pop Warner association must nominate a Player Safety Coach (PSC)
4.) Within the application, the commissioner can set up a coaching membership promo code for coach certification.
5.) All Pop Warner coaches (head and assistants) must register for USA Football Coach Membership at $10 per coach using a league specific promo code.
6.) All Pop Warner coaches (head and assistants) must complete the USA Football Level 1 Coach Certification Course annually.
7.) New coaches take the full USA Football Level 1 Course and previously certified coaches take the re-certification quiz.
