West Los Angeles College Overview
Braiding and weaves are hugely popular, but depending on type of braid, length and materials, a single style can cost hundreds of dollars and take four to eight hours. In this hands-on class, students learn basic braids like the cornrow and fishtail, and practice doing them on a full-sized mannequin head. Also learn about weaving in extensions, the different kinds of hair that can be used and their limitations.
