New clients start here! Consultations are the first step for all Ruff Life services other than group classes. This 1.5-hour, hands-on session includes training, personalized guidance, and practical handling skills so you can start making progress with your pup after just one session.

Private training sessions are fully personalized to your dog, your goals, and your lifestyle. Sessions can be scheduled flexibly with no package requirements and are available at our training center or in real-world environments like in your home or the community.

Our group training classes provide focused instruction in a supportive, structured environment for dogs and their paw-rents. Each class is taught by one of Ruff Life’s professional trainers, limited to just six dogs, and held at the Ruff Life Training Center (803 Fairview Street). With small class sizes and expert instruction, you’ll receive plenty of hands-on support to help you and your dog succeed.

Drop-Off Training is designed for busy owners who want consistent progress built into their dog’s routine. Dogs work 1:1 with our trainers on personalized goals, practice skills around distractions, and participate in supervised social time during every visit. Small class size allows for individualized attention. Tracks include obedience, public manners, dog play skills, and more. Half day: $200/month. Full day: $320/month. Every other Monday PM Drop-ins: $50/session.

Boarding with Maintenance Training is available to current clients only at limited capacity in our trainers’ homes. Dogs enjoy playtime, enrichment, walks or hikes, and occasional field trips or SniffSpot adventures while trainers reinforce structure and maintain current training skills. We welcome dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments, including those requiring specialized handling or separation from other dogs.
