Through engaging sessions, we'll focus on building a strong foundation of
obedience while deepening the bond between you and your dog. Learn essential commands such as "place," "leave it," "walk," "heel," "stay," and "recall" through positive reinforcement techniques. Each week, we'll work on refining these skills, ensuring clarity and consistency in your training approach. By the end of the course, you'll have the tools and knowledge to effectively train these commands and enjoy a harmonious relationship filled with mutual understanding and trust.

Sundays 1:30-2:30 pm
Our Collaborative Care class is designed to help dogs feel confident, calm, and cooperative during handling for everyday care and professional visits like the vet or groomer. Through gentle, hands-on training, you and your dog will practice real-life scenarios such as veterinary exams, grooming routines, nail care using a scratch pad, and helpful cues like “stand” and “place,” all while building your dog’s trust and emotional readiness. This class not only teaches practical skills, but also gives owners valuable insight into common medical and grooming experiences, so you can better advocate for your dog and make stressful situations more manageable for everyone involved.

The goal of this course is to gain the attention of your dog in new environments and to create a strong foundation for recall. Activities include working around distractions, teaching your dog to respond to their name, and improving their ability to come when called.
