All dogs love Jayson! So do we! Group walks, group classes, and private training sessions are all ways we have been able to interact with Jayson as our trainer. Our dog has gained positive experiences and skills through Jayson’s sessions, and we gain confidence with Jayson’s individualized support and knowledge as we continue to strengthen our relationship with our dog. We are so grateful for his creative thinking, knowledge and innate skills in working with dogs and their humans (and making it fun at the same time). We cannot recommend him enough!

Jayson is an incredible trainer and teacher. He certainly speaks dog, I'm sure of it. I've immensely enjoyed group classes with my dog and plan to continue doing so until my little guy is out of puppyhood. I've heard the group walks are also awesome and will be attending some in the near future.

Highly recommend Jayson and Good Dog Project. We had Jayson do our puppy training and we’re having him back to work on some bad habits we’ve developed now that Louie is older. Always impressed with Jayson’s knowledge, how the dogs respond to him, and how easy his programs are to follow. He’s great about sending updates with what you’ve worked on and the homework to work on between session. Can’t say enough good things about him!

We love The Good Dog Project! Jayson has been so helpful, patient and kind with my dog, Ellie. We've done group training classes as well as the group walks and have had amazing experiences with both! Jayson gives really clear directions and supports in the moment and creates such a safe and fun space for dogs with all different needs and personalities! If you're looking for a trainer and/or want to start doing group walks with your dog(s) to work on loose leash walking, distractions, etc then definitely come to The Good Dog Project!

Sammy and Lilah love the safe opportunity to socialize with other dogs and get some exercise with group dog walks. Jason is good about reminding dog parents for the “look-fors” and effective training he’s provided for all of us to be successful. All the dogs love Jason; they’ll do anything for him.

Jason is a fantastic trainer! Our dog started displaying some leash reactivity recently so we have been going on the group walks for positive counter conditioning. Jason is very knowledgeable and helpful with tips and tricks that work for dogs. The walks are fun and a great workout for her as well. Jason is patient, kind and thoughtful. I would highly recommend.

Jayson is a miracle worker! My husband and I just got a 8 week golden puppy, and she's been having major issues with demand barking. After just one session with Jayson, her demand barking has dramatically decreased! Jayson had amazing training tips to share with us, and he even emailed various resources to us after our session. We feel like we are more equipped to work with her in between our weekly training sessions. Jayson definitely knows what he's doing and he's a top notch trainer. He cares deeply about his work, which is obvious in every interaction we've had with him. His sessions are amazing value and we are so excited to work more with him in the weeks to come! He's going to be our go-to trainer for the rest of our dog's life.

Jayson has had a lot of experience with different breeds and different behaviors in his years of dog rescue and fostering. Besides his own personal connection he also volunteers at spay and neuter clinics. He helps other pet parents fix the shelter overpopulation problem. From a tiny chihuahua to a giant breed he can play to their strengths and their needs to teach their owner how to communicate with them. He’s helped us with fosters, adult dogs and puppies, as well as our foster fail and our existing dog! 🥰

My rescue puppy, Toast loves Jayson! He's an excellent trainer. We've done basic obedience training and group walks with The Good Dog Project, and it's been such a great experience. I would definitely recommend Jayson!

The Good Dog Project has been nothing but a wonderful experience. Jayson has been great teaching me how to help my reactive border collie. We participate in his group classes and we participate in group walks to help with socializing. Group classes have included a lot of great confidence building activities, focus, leash training, place/stay, and always end with some sort of group activity. Group walks are great for people and dogs to socialize. We give space to each other, work on passing triggers, obedience, leash walking and sometimes pair walking. Group walks are usually at different trails/paths, so a lot of different scenery and scenarios. Can I also just say that Jayson is a good human. Communicates well and always responsive to any questions/concerns. He is knowledgeable and in it for the dogs!

I cannot recommend Jayson enough! He’s super knowledgeable especially with the challenges that can come with a rescue dog. I’m always impressed watching him and seeing how the dogs respond, it’s clear he loves dogs and the feeling is mutual! He is incredibly kind and calm with both humans and dogs alike. I also love the variety of training options and drop in style classes. Plus the group walks are so much fun!!

Jayson is a very intuitive trainer for all dogs & their guardians. He's worked with both of my dogs - who are large, high energy, athletic and required kennel training, leash reactivity work and socialization practice with other dogs. He speaks fluent 'dog'! His methods help people better understand their dogs so they institute proper training & boundaries to achieve desired behaviors. He is the most qualified and talented trainer I've come across in the dog training industry.

Jayson is a fantastic trainer. His knowledge of dogs is incredible and he knows just how to make the dog have fun during training as well as training the owner!

Jayson is a fantastic human to work with and is very in tune with dog behavior. He was very easy to schedule a private training session with as well.
