I had the absolute BEST experience with the entire team! Susan (and every single incredible woman in the building) answered every and any question I had throughout the process of my wedding dress alterations. Not only was my dress fitted to my body perfectly and the most incredible bustle created - I was cheered on every step of the way! I looked forward to every single appointment and felt so confident by the end of the process! From the bottom of my heart, thank you! For the record, I had such a fun and positive experience that Saylor Sewing altered my MOH dress that I had to wear 6 weeks before my own wedding AND they did my mom’s MOB dress for my wedding! THEY DO IT ALL!

First time customer. 1. Beautiful Boutique and clean 2.Appointment reservations were digitally seamless which made life easier Appointment day. We arrived with the scheduled flower girl dressing. Staff were ready and prepared. I communicated its a $20 dress purchase with cheap material. So not expecting miracles for a one size too large one time use dress. Seamstress still took fitting seriously not discriminating material or cost. Professionally assessing and pinning if it was a million dollar dress while keeping my 10 year old comfortable. Long story short. Not an easy fix as we thought and out of our budget. I felt horrible having to deny service. She continued to help troubleshoot for such an important day. We were able to order a new dress in time and she measured my flower girl to give better judgment on the new dress. 10 out of 10. Will recommend your alterations services to everyone ♥️♥️♥️♥️

I felt so comfortable and welcomed each time I went to their studio. Everything was easy to understand, and the pricing was affordable. The bustle that Susan created was PERFECT! It added a fun flair to my dress that I didn't even know was possible. I was lucky enough to win a giveaway for a Wedding Day Concierge, and Susan and Melissa were an absolute godsend. They brought my dress, steamed it along with the bridesmaids’ and mothers’ dresses, brought snacks, and had anything we could possibly need for the day. They helped me get into my dress, put on my veil, and were just so sweet and supportive the entire time. I truly couldn’t have imagined my wedding day without them there, and I am endlessly grateful for their care and attention. I would definitely recommend this service to any bride.

Suzy is in a league of her own when it comes to alterations. I've had her alter shirts, pants (hems, seam rips, & holes), my wedding gown, ao dai, bridesmaids' dresses, and she even made my ring bearer pillow and garter out of extra fabric from my wedding gown. I felt super comfortable here and confident that Susan knew exactly what she was doing! The dress turned out perfectly. I felt like it was worth every dollar as they did an amazing job and it fit beautifully. I truly felt the most beautiful I ever have on my wedding day because of it.

I had to buy my dress off the rack, and while I loved it, it didn't check all the boxes for me. I had many changes I wanted to make, and Susan and her team brought my vision to life. I went from questioning if I picked the right dress, to wishing even now I could wear it every day of my life. Meeting several times to do different stages of my dress ensured I was getting everything I wanted along the way. My hips needed to be let out to fit correctly. The length shortened, cups changed out, straps shortened, lace moved around because of these and the integrity of the dress never suffered. I had a petticoat sewn in for body and horsehair added to the front of the dress to maintain shape. Comparing the off the rack pics to the finished product, I couldn't have been happier.

I want to thank you for the excellent service I received. Susy you made me feel special from the moment I walked in the door, you are so professional and your work was amazing. Hilda was awesome she was a blessing to have, she didn't hesitate to help when things got a little chaotic. She not only helped get me into my dress, she also helped sew my daughter's dress and set up tables and gave me royal treatment ❤️

Susan is awesome, she is kind and personable, and does an excellent job for a very reasonable price. She's worked on two of my formal dresses now (one a chiffon bridesmaid dress, the other a velvet evening gown). I 10/10 recommend going to her for your alterations! She is on the far side of Lincoln, but it's worth the drive to entrust your garments to someone who does excellent work.

Highly recommend! I had my bridesmaid's dress altered here. This was my first time having a dress altered and Susan was wonderful in explaining all the steps of altering and the different options. Plus she did a fantastic job with my dress! Will definitely be back for all my alteration needs.

She altered my wedding dress and was super helpful through the whole process through scheduling to final fitting. She answered any and all questions kindly and even taught my mom how to do my bustle afterward and practiced with her! Highly recommend!

Very professional from start to finish. Suzy is great at what she does and is very knowledgeable. She has worked on various formal garments for me and also smaller projects like costumes and simple pant hems. She is my go to seamstress!

Just cannot say enough wonderful things about Susan and the Saylor Sewing team—they were absolutely fantastic! My wedding dress had multiple complex layers that each required precise adjustments, and they tailored it to absolute perfection. We also opted for their wedding day concierge service, which was the best decision we made. They beautifully steamed my dress, along with the wedding party’s gowns and shirts for those traveling from out of town. Having their ongoing, hands-on support throughout the day allowed us to relax and fully enjoy every moment stress-free. We highly recommend them to any couple!
