Mondays at 5pm Puppy Skills Drop-In is a flexible, structured class focused on real-life skills. We work on the things that actually matter day to day. Staying focused around distractions, keeping all four paws on the floor, ignoring food on the ground, walking nicely on a leash, and learning how to settle. Each class covers the same core concepts, just practiced in different ways so your puppy learns how to apply them in new environments and situations. We are building skills that stick, not just ones that work in one setting. This is not a play class. Puppies will be working individually with their owners to build focus, confidence, and self-control around other dogs without direct interaction. Drop in when it works for you, or come consistently to build real progress over time. For puppies up to 8 months. Proof of age-appropriate vaccinations required. Class size is limited to keep things calm and intentional. After 6 classes you have the option of taking the AKC Puppy Star Test at your following class. Please note: The use of aversive training tools, including but not limited to prong collars and electronic collars, is not permitted at this facility.
Mondays at 6:30pm Training should be fun, but it should also make everyday life easier. This drop-in class blends trick training, interactive games, and foundational skills to help your dog build focus, confidence, and real-world reliability. Each class includes guided instruction where we introduce and practice a mix of 3–4 skills, tricks, or games. Exercises are designed to be practical, engaging, and adaptable to different experience levels, so you and your dog can jump in at any time without feeling behind. This class is ideal for improving engagement, strengthening communication, and giving your dog a productive mental outlet in a structured environment. For those interested, many of the skills taught in class can be applied toward AKC Trick Dog titles, with testing opportunities available. Please note: The use of aversive training tools, including but not limited to prong collars and electronic collars, is not permitted at this facility.
A structured off-leash social play session where dogs can enjoy appropriate interaction in a safe, monitored environment. Owners remain responsible for supervising and handling their own dogs while a trainer oversees play, helps read body language, supports healthy interactions, and may step in at any time to pause or stop play to keep everyone safe and comfortable. Our goal is calm, appropriate social interaction, not nonstop wrestling or chaotic play. Play groups are not the right fit for every dog. At this time, dogs displaying resource guarding, reactivity, or inappropriate/unfair play styles may not be a good fit for group, and we encourage private sessions instead. Dogs should be comfortable around other dogs, able to take breaks from play, and able to be called away from interactions when needed. If you are new to Spotted Snout, we will reach out prior to your first play group to learn more about your dog and help determine whether the group is an appropriate fit. Additional Details: $15 per dog Sundays at 9:00 AM Dogs must be over 6 months old Puppies under 6 months are encouraged to join our Puppy Skills class Vaccines required Dogs showing signs of illness may not attend No aversive equipment, including prong, shock/e-collars, or choke collars Owners must remain inside the play area and attentive to their dogs This is not a drop-off service Bring a standard leash for arrival and high value treats Dogs will enter the space on leash and will be released for play when the trainer gives the cue Handlers must remain attentive, engaged, and ready to interrupt play if needed Limited spots available Play may be paused or ended at any time for safety, stress levels, or group compatibility Groups may be canceled due to weather or rain conditions Cancellations must be made 12 hours in advance to receive credit or refund
