Learn the basics of communication while working with your dog and prepare a strong foundation to best begin training with them. Over the four-week class, we will: • Teach your dog to focus on you • Get your dog invested in the training process • Develop a higher level of engagement between you and your dog • Help your dog to focus in the presence of distractions including other dogs • Begin teaching the commands: Sit, Down, Spot, and Come • Teach you the basic foundation of loose leash walking • Teach you how to communicate effectively with a clicker, verbal markers, and body language • Teach you how to teach your dog to think and offer behaviors independently, which is the strongest form of learning for your dog No refunds. Make up sessions can be scheduled for an additional cost of $30 for the private session Monday - Friday except Wednesday from 10-3:00 pm.
