Relaxation
Traditional Swedish style massage, promotes relaxation by targeting superficial muscles and increasing blood circulation. Light, medium or firm pressure, may include passive range of motion of joints and light stretching.
Therapeutic
Therapeutic modalities target severe muscular tension in areas of tight and contracted tissue. These sessions will combine the use of Deep tissue, Neuromuscular therapy, Acupressure, Sports massage, passive & active stretching, thermotherapy (heat or ice) and passive range of motion of joints. Medium, firm or deep pressure.
Hot Stone
Traditional or therapeutic style massage integrated with the use of basalt or Himalayan salt stones, heated to 110-130 degrees. Hot stone massage promotes release of muscular tension and may be helpful in reducing stress & anxiety and easing muscular pain and tension. Light, medium, firm or deep pressure.
Cupping
Cupping therapy, also known as myofascial decompression, uses a negative pressure to lift muscle fibers, increases blood flow to the targeted area, loosens soft tissue & connective tissue and increases lymphatic flow and circulation.
Integrated
Integrated treatments utilize a combined application of Therapeutic modalities, Cupping, Hot Stone, passive range of motion of joints, passive and resisted stretching, thermotherapy and a specially blended muscle therapy oil. These functional sessions are goal focused for injury rehabilitation and pain management.
Prenatal
Specifically for expecting mothers in the 2nd and 3rd trimester of pregnancy. Similar to traditional massage, gentle light to medium pressure is applied. The goals of Prenatal aim to relax tense muscles, improve circulation and mobility. Prenatal massage is a special technique that is safer on pregnant bodies, using modified positioning, bolsters props and techniques to support the changing body of the recipient.
Reflexology
Reflexology is the application of gentle pressure to specific points and areas on the feet that correspond to the different body organs and systems. The benefits of Reflexology include its ability to promote wellness by stimulating nerve function and the Central Nervous System through an indirect application.
