I had my first Brazilian wax with Des, and it was an amazing experience. She made me feel completely comfortable right away, explained everything clearly, and checked in throughout the service. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care really stood out, and it’s clear she takes pride in her work. I highly recommend Des, especially for first-timers !! She truly makes the experience smooth and comfortable!

I had my first appointment with her today for a full body wax and I can honestly say the experience was amazing. From the moment I walked in and poked my head through the door, she greeted me with the biggest, most genuine smile. Her energy was so warm and welcoming that I couldn’t help but hug her. Waxing is never the most comfortable thing in the world, but she made the whole process so much easier. She talked with me the entire time, made me feel comfortable, and constantly reminded me that I was doing great. Even during the painful parts, she still managed to make me feel beautiful and confident. You can really tell that she takes pride in what she does. This isn’t just a job for her, she truly knows her craft and does it extremely well. Her work is top tier and her spirit makes the experience even better. I’m already in the process of booking my next appointment, so it’s safe to say she’s stuck with me now. I’m definitely a forever client. Highly recommend!

Desiree has been my first and only esthetician for nearly five years, and I couldn’t imagine going to anyone else. My very first Brazilian bikini wax was with her, and like most people, I was extremely nervous. She put me at ease by explaining exactly what she would do, step by step, and checking in often to make sure I was comfortable. Her friendly conversation made the experience much less intimidating, and her patience, cleanliness and professionalism stood out right away. Over the years, Desiree has been consistently kind, clean, and highly knowledgeable. She delivers the same amazing service every appointment. I’ve loved my results so much that I now wax with her my underarms and legs as well. I love leaving my appointments with smooth skin every time. I’m so grateful to have found her!

Desiree has an amazing personality and always makes you feel safe with her whenever you are waxing. Never have to come home to pluck a hair because she always gets them ALL. Love her and you’ll love getting wax by her so you should book an appointment asap!

Great waxing experience!! The owner is inviting, professional, diligent and really puts in the effort to make sure that her customer is happy with their results before they leave. The environment is clean and well maintained so you feel comfortable and I always feel great when I leave. I’d definitely recommend Root.Wax to everyone who wants personal care for their skin and waxing needs. I moved, but won’t go to anyone else because I’ve worked with other skin care providers before and feeling like I wasted my time and money, feeling unsatisfied and rushed through the appointment! Definitely the opposite here and I’ll take the hour drive for excellent service!

Des is one of the best if not THE BEST esthetician I have ever had. The space is always clean with calm spa like energy. She is always sure to make her clients are feeling calm and comfortable for every service. You can tell she loves her job by the way she constantly goes above and beyond with every service- she is sure to make sure her clients are happy, satisfied, and SMOOTH every time. If you have any questions when it comes to your skin, waxing, exfoliation, etc., Des is always willing to answer but also educate in the kindest, best way. Has and will be my only waxer for the foreseeable future.
