We took our 10 month old GSP Drax here to help with leash walking. Working with Aiden was the best dog trainer we have had for any of our dogs. He was very knowledgeable in not only teaching the dog the skills but also their temperament and working with how they are behaving in the moment. There were a couple days where Drax did not want to train and Aiden was able to shift the plan to meet Drax’s need while also making sure we got the most out of the session. While Drax’s leash manner aren’t 100% fixed Aiden gave us all the skills we need to continue this training on our own to get him where he needs to be. We will definitely be coming back with any future dogs we get!

They really know what they're doing. We (Me and my dog Bear) went through training at Really good pets. I said we because you and your dog have to work daily on what your learned during your training session. The training never stops It's a daily activity. It's a lot of work training your dog. But it is well worth it. I really recommend this training company.

Aiden is awesome, he taught us so many useful tools for my soon to be guide dog and she's become very well rounded. Couldn't have asked for a better experience ❤️

Aiden did outstanding job with Our pack of three ! No only did he work with our doggos he was great with us ! Giving us great instruction and insight to how our dogs learn and behave . The in home training and out at other locations was amazing!Aiden’d flexibility and understanding was great , he made time to see us even on late weekday evenings to be sure we got our session in . Our dogs reacted well to the instruction and we now have the training to keep our pack happy and well behaved . Dorissa and I are very grateful , Bodi , Ace and Max are now a well mannered pack ! I started working with Michael on general obedience with my dog with the ultimate goal of having my dog behave around my horses. After a few lessons, we headed out to the ranch and Michael had my dog minding his manners around the horses in a matter of hours! Michael is very nice and fun and easy to work with, and my anxious dog is always so excited to go see him! Fully recommend for any dog and any issue!

We have had around 5 sessions with Michael and have seen a huge shift in how our dog, Benji, interacts with us! We have tried other dog trainers before but Michael is hands down the best. He teaches the importance of the relationship with your dog and how that is everything when it comes to behavior. He uses nothing but positive reinforcement to create new habits and skills. It’s fun for me to learn and Benji has a blast!

We rescued our lab, Roy, in December of 2024. We got him in training within the first month & oh my goodness are we so thankful. Aiden our trainer at Really Good Pets has helped Roy transition to our home, helped him overcome some big feelings of anxiety, and has made us way better doggo parents. We did both in-studio and in-home lessons which was fantastic! 10/10 recommend this company. They truly care about your doggie and help you understand how to better train and enrich their lives. I started training with my sweet Charlie Merle, a boisterous, biting, wild one, when he was about 11 weeks old and fresh out of the pound. I went into it thinking I had lost my mind spending that much money and also that it was so not going to work. Well, let me tell you, I was dead wrong. Aiden is amazing and has shown me what I need to know to have an amazing, really good pet. I needed the training every bit as much as Charlie, and together, we have learned so much and have the tools for a lifetime of learning and good boy behavior. Our family has been using Michael Harper to help us train our new puppy. He has been so wonderful from the very first message and meeting. Since our puppy wasn’t fully vaccinated he has been coming to the house starting a few days after we brought her home. Our puppy and family knew right away he was going to be a great fit. He is knowledgeable and you can tell that he loves doing this type of work. He had our puppy doing tricks within being at our home for a few minutes. He gives us a few things each week to work on and if I have any questions or concerns in between visits he is always available. I am confident by the time we are done with our training we will have the obedient dog we are working towards. I would recommend him to anyone looking for dog training.

An excellent experience for a new dog owner. Our trainer came to our home to help us with a 2 month old puppy, while being surrounded by young children. While our pup still needs work he responds to a lot of commands he and my family learned. We resolved potty and biting issues as well as getting his attention and coming to us. Our trainer was highly professional and very personable. He created a list of goals and listened to our concerns, working on our top priorities. 100% recommend

I’ve been working with Aiden since December of 2022 when my baby Koda was only 3 months old. I reached out to Really Good Pets, in tears, as I had been working with a different company who had instructed me to use methods such as choke collars and tugging roughly on my dog’s neck to “discipline” her for not following through with commands. The look of fear in her eyes is something I will never forget. It broke me and I thought I ruined any chance of having a good relationship with my dog Koda. Aiden met up with us immediately after my phone call. We started our first training sessions a few weeks after and Koda was so overwhelmed with joy every time Aiden came by for training. Koda was eager to learn through positive reinforcement techniques and learns so quickly using Aiden’s methods. My relationship with Koda now has totally transformed, and training has become fun and exciting for the both of us. I’m so grateful for Really Good Pets and Aiden specifically. 10/10 everything. Koda has nailed her basic commands, loves her trainer, enjoys training sessions. We plan to continue working with Aiden for as long as we can

We brought our older puppy in for a free consultation, and I was so impressed and grateful. Michael was patient, listened to our concerns and questions, and gave us honest advice. We weren’t sure whether our dog needed basic training or something more intensive, and Michael took his time evaluating the dog and was super honest and didn’t try to oversell us. (As new/first time dog owners, he so easily could have). Our dog immediately loved him and he gave us so much helpful information just during the consultation. Highly recommend.

I have a 3 yr old female German Shepherd who is dog reactive, people reactive, pulled hard on the leash, jumped on people with excitement. I reached out to Michael at really good pets for help in correcting these behaviors. We have only had a few sessions and my Luna is learning and responding to all methods we have learned so far. She is already a different dog than when we started. At our last session my husband even made the comment to Luna "who are you?" Because she has done so well. All the credit goes to Michael. Amazing consultation. Great communication, truthful & straightforward. Helped integrate a 10 month old puppy who had lived in the shelter with a very cranky 10-year-old dog that did not like other animals.

We adopted our dog, Ace, after two families had decided he was too difficult to keep. After only a few training sessions he was a completely different dog! He was always smart and wanted to be good, he just needed a lot of direction. Michael is an excellent trainer and gave Ace exactly the direction he needed. My dog (11 months old) and I had such a great experience training with Aiden for the past 2.5 months. Monk is a recent rescue and has super energetic puppy brain. But we went from the complete basics (like Sit) to walking through a store in heel position around other people and dogs with my dog's focus entirely on me (insane!!!). Aiden thinks of things on the spot that you would never think of while training that will tweak my dog's behavior instantly. I was so impressed! I learned so much and feel really set up to be able to keep training Monk to be a super well-behaved dog.

I needed a trainer for my 2 yr old chihuahua mix to control her barking at the neighbors dog. Luckily we found Aiden. He was so knowledgeable, patient (with my dog and me!) and professional. He taught both of us many activities that helped to control the barking as well as a few other things! He was available for asking questions in between sessions and really knows dogs! My dog and I are so appreciative for the wonderful work that Aiden applied. A true ethologist! I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trainer that will be knowledgeable, patient and effective.

I have a 6 year old reactive dog who was terrified of everything after he got attacked by a dog. We signed up for the 5 week group class at a very affordable price with the hope to help him feel more comfortable around other dogs and people. Michael was our trainer, and he was so patient with him and very knowledgeable about dog behavior. We saw a lot of improvement in my dog's behavior, and we learned how to better handle stressful situations with him. He also learned to stop pulling on the leash! Aiden helped us so much with our new rescue lab, Ellie. Ellie was a stray, abandoned puppy, and she came with a special set of health issues and problems. Aiden was patient, kind and thoughtful and led us through some great training exercises to help Ellie adjust. He tailored his training for Ellie's special needs and came up with some inventive ways to engage Ellie in her lessons. She learned a lot and so did we! I highly recommend using Aiden for help with training your dog. Five Stars!

My trainer, Aiden was excellent. He is kind and compassionate about his work. My dog Maisey responded to him very well the first time they met. Aiden broke down the lessons so they were easy to understand for both Maisey and myself. If I had questions Aiden was a phone call or text away. I would highly recommend him to anyone who wanted their pet to have better manners.

My 8 wk old German Shepherd and I met with Michael yesterday for a 30 min free consultation and we are totally impressed. She's going to get another round of shots b4 we actually start but after only a few minutes Michael had Trixie sitting and coming to him, even laying down. Astounding! We're going to keep practicing at home and we'll be ahead of the game when she goes to her first official session. This is going to be the best investment I've ever made. 👍👍👍👍👍

A friend referred Michael saying he was the only dog trainer she’d ever worked with that didn’t shame her for her dog’s bad behavior. She was absolutely right, and I could give Michael five stars on that alone. We came in with three different dogs with a wide variety of bad behaviors that were driving us nuts. From the very first lesson Michael was able to help us start to change things for the better. He even thought to teach the dogs to respond to hand signals as well as verbal commands, so my nonverbal special needs child can give the dogs commands too! We definitely recommend Michael, five stars across the board!

Aiden is our dog trainer, and he is the best that we have ever had. He is kind, patient and extremely knowledgeable. Our 2 year old Lab, Chloe, absolutely loves him. Every Tuesday I let her know that Aiden is coming, and she will look and wait for him throughout the day. We have seen such an improvement in Chloe since Aiden started to work with us. Michael has been working with Mabel for over a year now and it has been a great experience for us and for Mabel to get a trainer so in tuned with her needs. She adores spending time with him and we love the idea she looks forward to working with him. Between the dog and her trainer, I don’t know which enjoys the time more though. Great job Michael and years of more fun to come as she advances in training.

UPDATE: Michael worked miracles with my dog, Sadie! She is conquering her reactivity issues and has gained confidence through training with thoughtful, positive reinforcement. Now she can work toward her CGC certification and keep improving from there. I'm so impressed with Michael's knowledge and work ethic and highly recommend him for any training needs from basic obedience to behavioral issues. Thanks to Michael for his ongoing hard work with my 3-year-old Bluetick Coonhound, Sadie. She had developed reactivity, separation anxiety, and obedience issues and was becoming more dog than I could handle. Michael created an individualized training plan to address her specific needs and behaviors and works closely with both of us in a patient, positive, and professional manner to solve these problems. Sadie is making great progress in her training and absolutely loves her sessions with Michael each week. I greatly appreciate his feedback and guidance and look forward to our continued training.

Shannon and David are absolutely amazing. They are highly professional, incredibly knowledgeable, and truly care about your dog just as much as you do. They don't just train your dog- they train you and your dog to be a team. Working with Shannon changed my dog's quality of life immeasurably. I began sessions with Shannon expecting to have a better behaved dog in the end, but what I found is that the bond I have with my dog is so much stronger. I was almost ready to give up on my dog because she didn't seem happy and I felt like I was failing her as an owner. Shannon started by giving me confidence as an owner and trainer of my own dog, and then she showed me how to build my dog's confidence (and give her the stimulation her brilliant border collie brain needs) by training together and engaging in interactive play. The positive change in my dog's attitude and personality are astounding- she is no longer the timid, jumpy, neurotic border collie I adopted 5 years ago. She is confident, playful, and even cuddly! She refused to snuggle before, and now she sleeps right next to me in the bed every night. Thank you, Shannon, for teaching me how to bring out the best in my dog, and giving me my best friend. I wish we still lived nearby so that we could continue working with Really Good Pets.

Really God Pets is great and I definitely recommend them. They only use positive reinforcement which was a big deal for me, as a bunch of other trainers I found only use negative reinforcement such as e-collars. They have a great program for all dogs, and have really helped my dog come to where she is now in a short time! She always gets so excited to go to training and always leaves happy and rightfully tired. They are easy to schedule with and respond quickly.

So thankful for the patience and dedication of our trainer. Highly highly recommend and if you’re lucky enough to get Aiden, your dog will have a new best friend.

Michael has helped guide us train 3 dogs to work with children and adults as therapy dogs. His expertise and instinct is unlike anything I have experienced. He knows instantly what my animal is thinking and can immediately help us to correct any behaviors. Truly an asset to the animal loving community.

If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. Michael is incredible and has taught my hyper high energy dog so much in just 4 hours so far. We have a baby on the way and I was so anxious because my dog was way too rough with jumping and play nipping. We tried everything we could find to try to correct it ourselves and were frustrated and losing hope. She’s still her playful self but with way better boundaries and listening already! I could not recommend Michael more!

Kathleen and Michael do an amazing job helping train dogs and more importantly they instruct the owners on how to behave. We have had group classes and solo lessons. We are thankful for Really Good Pets and would recommend them to anyone who wants to grow closer to there dogs.

In the 10 weeks that Maisey and I trained with Michael not only did our bond strengthen but I watched her flourish, becoming quicker and more confident in her skills. Michael’s experience, knowledge, and passion for his work is what made all of that happen. Michael himself is such a calming presence which makes for a great training environment.

We worked with 2 trainers during our sessions. I have to say - Shannon is a miracle worker with our dog!! He's a very hyper, easily over stimulated Aussie who had almost no manners when we adopted him at 10 months old. From January to June, Sammy has learned basics from walking on a leash properly to hard stuff like not barking for an hour because the wind blew the leaves on a tree. He's stopped chasing/herding the cats and loves to learn new things. I would 100% recommend Shannon to anyone needing help!!!

Shannon was an amazing trainer. Our Newfoundland puppy Sophie responded to her from the first lesson. It became very apparent that we were the ones being trained and not the dog. Shannon did a great job of explaining things to us in clear and simple ways. She made the dog training process a lot easier and enjoyable.

Aiden is nothing short of fabulous! Professional, knowledgeable, encouraging and flexible. He met our little pup Tyson where he was, and flexed his training based on Tyson’s responses. I reached out to Really Good Pets as my puppy Watson seemed to show signs of separation anxiety. Aiden met with Watson and I to better understand the situation and help. With Aiden's assistance Watson has made many improvements and is well on his way to learning how to process being alone. Aiden always listened to any of my issues and was always willing to provide feedback even for the most basic questions. Watson will miss Aiden's visits so we will definitely have to reach out again!

When I first adopted my crazy puppy I was googling and researching different dog training companies and came across Really Good Pets, although I was skeptical at first I took a chance and I am so glad I did! Amazing consultation. Great communication, truthful & straightforward. Helped integrate a 10 month old puppy who had lived in the shelter with a very cranky 10-year-old dog that did not like other animals.

We adopted our dog, Ace, after two families had decided he was too difficult to keep. After only a few training sessions he was a completely different dog! He was always smart and wanted to be good, he just needed a lot of direction. Michael is an excellent trainer and gave Ace exactly the direction he needed. We're so thankful for our experience with Michael and Really Good Pets.

My dog (11 months old) and I had such a great experience training with Aiden for the past 2.5 months. Monk is a recent rescue and has super energetic puppy brain. But we went from the complete basics (like Sit) to walking through a store in heel position around other people and dogs with my dog's focus entirely on me (insane!!!). Aiden thinks of things on the spot that you would never think of while training that will tweak my dog's behavior instantly. I was so impressed! I learned so much and feel really set up to be able to keep training Monk to be a super well-behaved dog.

I needed a trainer for my 2 yr old chihuahua mix to control her barking at the neighbors dog. Luckily we found Aiden. He was so knowledgeable, patient (with my dog and me!) and professional. He taught both of us many activities that helped to control the barking as well as a few other things! He was available for asking questions in between sessions and really knows dogs! My dog and I are so appreciative for the wonderful work that Aiden applied. A true ethologist! I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trainer that will be knowledgeable, patient and effective.

I have a 6 year old reactive dog who was terrified of everything after he got attacked by a dog. We signed up for the 5 week group class at a very affordable price with the hope to help him feel more comfortable around other dogs and people. Michael was our trainer, and he was so patient with him and very knowledgeable about dog behavior. We saw a lot of improvement in my dog's behavior, and we learned how to better handle stressful situations with him. He also learned to stop pulling on the leash! Aiden helped us so much with our new rescue lab, Ellie. Ellie was a stray, abandoned puppy, and she came with a special set of health issues and problems. Aiden was patient, kind and thoughtful and led us through some great training exercises to help Ellie adjust. He tailored his training for Ellie's special needs and came up with some inventive ways to engage Ellie in her lessons. She learned a lot and so did we! I highly recommend using Aiden for help with training your dog. Five Stars!

My trainer, Aiden was excellent. He is kind and compassionate about his work. My dog Maisey responded to him very well the first time they met. Aiden broke down the lessons so they were easy to understand for both Maisey and myself. If I had questions Aiden was a phone call or text away. I would highly recommend him to anyone who wanted their pet to have better manners.

My 8 wk old German Shepherd and I met with Michael yesterday for a 30 min free consultation and we are totally impressed. She's going to get another round of shots b4 we actually start but after only a few minutes Michael had Trixie sitting and coming to him, even laying down. Astounding! We're going to keep practicing at home and we'll be ahead of the game when she goes to her first official session. This is going to be the best investment I've ever made. 👍👍👍👍👍

A friend referred Michael saying he was the only dog trainer she’d ever worked with that didn’t shame her for her dog’s bad behavior. She was absolutely right, and I could give Michael five stars on that alone. We came in with three different dogs with a wide variety of bad behaviors that were driving us nuts. From the very first lesson Michael was able to help us start to change things for the better. He even thought to teach the dogs to respond to hand signals as well as verbal commands, so my nonverbal special needs child can give the dogs commands too! We definitely recommend Michael, five stars across the board!

Aiden did a wonderful job training our 2 dogs, and taught us some very important fundamental skills in working with them. We recommend Really Good Pets, without reservation, and hope to be able to have Aiden work with our dogs again in the future!

Aiden is our dog trainer, and he is the best that we have ever had. He is kind, patient and extremely knowledgeable. Our 2 year old Lab, Chloe, absolutely loves him. Every Tuesday I let her know that Aiden is coming, and she will look and wait for him throughout the day. We have seen such an improvement in Chloe since Aiden started to work with us. Michael has been working with Mabel for over a year now and it has been a great experience for us and for Mabel to get a trainer so in tuned with her needs. She adores spending time with him and we love the idea she looks forward to working with him. Between the dog and her trainer, I don’t know which enjoys the time more though. Great job Michael and years of more fun to come as she advances in training.

UPDATE: Michael worked miracles with my dog, Sadie! She is conquering her reactivity issues and has gained confidence through training with thoughtful, positive reinforcement. Now she can work toward her CGC certification and keep improving from there. I'm so impressed with Michael's knowledge and work ethic and highly recommend him for any training needs from basic obedience to behavioral issues. Thanks to Michael for his ongoing hard work with my 3-year-old Bluetick Coonhound, Sadie. She had developed reactivity, separation anxiety, and obedience issues and was becoming more dog than I could handle. Michael created an individualized training plan to address her specific needs and behaviors and works closely with both of us in a patient, positive, and professional manner to solve these problems. Sadie is making great progress in her training and absolutely loves her sessions with Michael each week. I greatly appreciate his feedback and guidance and look forward to our continued training.

Shannon and David are absolutely amazing. They are highly professional, incredibly knowledgeable, and truly care about your dog just as much as you do. They don't just train your dog- they train you and your dog to be a team. Working with Shannon changed my dog's quality of life immeasurably. I began sessions with Shannon expecting to have a better behaved dog in the end, but what I found is that the bond I have with my dog is so much stronger. I was almost ready to give up on my dog because she didn't seem happy and I felt like I was failing her as an owner. Shannon started by giving me confidence as an owner and trainer of my own dog, and then she showed me how to build my dog's confidence (and give her the stimulation her brilliant border collie brain needs) by training together and engaging in interactive play. The positive change in my dog's attitude and personality are astounding- she is no longer the timid, jumpy, neurotic border collie I adopted 5 years ago. She is confident, playful, and even cuddly! She refused to snuggle before, and now she sleeps right next to me in the bed every night. Thank you, Shannon, for teaching me how to bring out the best in my dog, and giving me my best friend. I wish we still lived nearby so that we could continue working with Really Good Pets.

Really God Pets is great and I definitely recommend them. They only use positive reinforcement which was a big deal for me, as a bunch of other trainers I found only use negative reinforcement such as e-collars. They have a great program for all dogs, and have really helped my dog come to where she is now in a short time! She always gets so excited to go to training and always leaves happy and rightfully tired. They are easy to schedule with and respond quickly.

So thankful for the patience and dedication of our trainer. Highly highly recommend and if you’re lucky enough to get Aiden, your dog will have a new best friend.

Michael has helped guide us train 3 dogs to work with children and adults as therapy dogs. His expertise and instinct is unlike anything I have experienced. He knows instantly what my animal is thinking and can immediately help us to correct any behaviors. Truly an asset to the animal loving community.

If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. Michael is incredible and has taught my hyper high energy dog so much in just 4 hours so far. We have a baby on the way and I was so anxious because my dog was way too rough with jumping and play nipping. We tried everything we could find to try to correct it ourselves and were frustrated and losing hope. She’s still her playful self but with way better boundaries and listening already! I could not recommend Michael more!

Kathleen and Michael do an amazing job helping train dogs and more importantly they instruct the owners on how to behave. We have had group classes and solo lessons. We are thankful for Really Good Pets and would recommend them to anyone who wants to grow closer to there dogs.

Aiden at Really Good Dogs is a life saver! He helped us work with instead of against our high energy puppy. The skills RGD teaches owners help set behaviors and expectations of both dog and owner.

In the 10 weeks that Maisey and I trained with Michael not only did our bond strengthen but I watched her flourish, becoming quicker and more confident in her skills. Michael’s experience, knowledge, and passion for his work is what made all of that happen. Michael himself is such a calming presence which makes for a great training environment.

We worked with 2 trainers during our sessions. I have to say - Shannon is a miracle worker with our dog!! He's a very hyper, easily over stimulated Aussie who had almost no manners when we adopted him at 10 months old. From January to June, Sammy has learned basics from walking on a leash properly to hard stuff like not barking for an hour because the wind blew the leaves on a tree. He's stopped chasing/herding the cats and loves to learn new things. I would 100% recommend Shannon to anyone needing help!!!

Shannon was an amazing trainer. Our Newfoundland puppy Sophie responded to her from the first lesson. It became very apparent that we were the ones being trained and not the dog. Shannon did a great job of explaining things to us in clear and simple ways. She made the dog training process a lot easier and enjoyable.

Aiden is nothing short of fabulous! Professional, knowledgeable, encouraging and flexible. He met our little pup Tyson where he was, and flexed his training based on Tyson’s responses. I reached out to Really Good Pets as my puppy Watson seemed to show signs of separation anxiety. Aiden met with Watson and I to better understand the situation and help. With Aiden's assistance Watson has made many improvements and is well on his way to learning how to process being alone. Aiden always listened to any of my issues and was always willing to provide feedback even for the most basic questions. Watson will miss Aiden's visits so we will definitely have to reach out again!

Shannon is amazing, I'm sad our training sessions with her are almost over! When I first adopted my crazy puppy I was googling and researching different dog training companies and came across Really Good Pets, although I was skeptical at first I took a chance and I am so glad I did! Shannon has helped me learn along side my dog who now knows so much more than I intended for her to learn (which I am so thankful for!)
