As a proud parent of a well-behaved pup, Lou, we can't praise No Barking Back enough for their exceptional obedience training program. After a few weeks of training, Reaba provided personalized attention to both Lou and us ensuring we understood the techniques and commands thoroughly. The training approach used by No Barking Back yielded fantastic results, with Lou now displaying impeccable manners and obedience. We can finally take Lou in public and don’t have to worry what he may do to other people or dogs! The support from Reaba and Mike made the entire experience enjoyable, and we wholeheartedly recommend No Barking Back to any pet owner seeking effective and compassionate training for their canine companion. They are exceptional!!

I am so very grateful that I found Reaba and her wonderful family. My boy Riley is treated just like family in their safe loving home. Reaba is an amazing dog trainer too. Riley had had special medical needs this year and I had no worries whatsoever in leaving my baby with her.

Mike and Reaba changed our family’s life. I am a mom of two littles and a six month old beast of a golden doodle. Our boy was sweet as pie; however, in his puppy stage had picked up a lot of bad habits. He was nipping, trying to chew on us constantly despite a plethora of bones and chew toys, chasing my kids, jumping all over the couch, taking my kids’ toys and ruining them, destroying our home, and jumping all over any guest that arrived. It was EXHAUSTING. I spent most days trying to correct a dog and two kids who just wanted to be kids. We also couldn’t take him anywhere because his wild behavior was unpredictable. I was at my breaking point and I love animals so much but considered that maybe this wasn’t the right fit. Before I did anything crazy, I started researching trainers. We had just moved and training wasn’t really in the budget, but was desperate. I found No Barking Back and several other places. After looking into each I really loved that my dog would be handled all through the day and would become part of their house pack. My dog sleeps in his crate next to my bed and I didn’t want to send him off to be sad and alone without us. Mike and Reaba came out to meet Ember and immediately I knew they were the right fit. They were not judgmental and their goal was to meet our dog where he was and work to create habits that fit into our family’s dynamic and routine. He was with Reaba for one week and I met up to see him once. The difference in this dog is night and day. He is my side kick now, instead of fighting me to behave all day. We have such a close relationship now because he sees me as being in control. My home is finally peaceful and my girls can run around and play with toys leaving them scattered without him touching them and destroying them. Does he still test boundaries? Yes, absolutely just like a toddler does. But I correct him and we move on and he’s learning everyday. He is going to be an amazing adult dog because we let Reaba work her magic. I cannot recommend this business enough. If you want your dog to get loved on, trained, exposed to so many new things, given attention, and come back a brand new pup then call them. I always forget to write reviews, but knew I had to do this because it could help someone else get a happier and peaceful home like mine is now. Thank you, thank you, thank you Mike & Reaba.

I am so happy to have found No Barking Back. So far this couple have exceeded our expectations working with our 5 yo Rottie. They have gone above and beyond to work with Simbah. We are truly appreciative. I see a huge difference in walking Simbah after only 1 day of training. I can’t wait for the next phase of the training. They are patient, very informative and truly know what they are doing. As a first time dog owner i am learning how to ne his mommy as well. I wish we had found them when he was a puppy but as they say never too late especially when you see a difference. They are worth their weight in gold.

Boarding….one of the most concerning things for a dog owner. (ie: checking your kid into a facility for safekeeping while you go do something somewhere that you can’t take said kid)…it can be nerve wracking in a bad way, sometimes justified unfortunately. NOT the case with No Barking Back. Reaba and Michael are professional dog people, and pretty darn professional dog owner people as well! My experience boarding our lab was as good as it gets. They’re dog people, AND professional dog owner people people; they get it and know how to keep dog owners accommodated, informed, and relaxed. That’s huge imo. They take great care of the dog AND the dog owner…no small task. They are professional dog people, and it shows. HIGHLY recommend.

I had an amazing experience with No Barking Back. I have never had to send a dog to training before so I was very apprehensive. It became apparent that training was a necessity when I couldn't even walk my one year old without her leaping, pulling, and throwing a fit. The trainers welcomed my dog into their home (not a kennel) and updated me constantly on how her training was going. After the first week, I was involved with learning how to “fix myself” so that I could learn to have better interactions with my dog and duplicate the responses the trainers obtained. She came home better than I could ever imagine and now walks easily past major distractions and focuses on me the whole time. Thankful for trainers like this that gave me a well-behaved dog so that we can enjoy each other's company for years to come!

Excellent training for our dog!!! Reaba communicated with us throughout the week and kept us updated on his training. He came home a new dog! Her and Mike are great and are very helpful with any questions. She offers great suggestions!! Highly recommend!

Reaba is amazing! We left our 1 year old Kerry Blue Terrier with No Barking Back for 3 weeks in October. The plan was for full time boarding coupled with 'almost' full time training. We received regular updates with videos. One of the significant needs was for our puppy to learn how to socialize with other dogs. By the end she was socializing not only with the 5 dogs but also with 2 cats. Hurrah! She was able to walk on a loose leash when we picked her up and her manners when leaving and entering the house (i.e. sitting first) were great. The investment was well worth it. Reaba is great! We highly recommend her.

Both of our dogs have gone here for training and boarding, and will continue to come here. Before we found No Barking Back we were told by numerous vets, and other trainers that one of our dogs was aggressive and a liability. Not only did Reaba help me feel comfortable with my dogs body language, but she helped me understand what I needed to do in order to help him. She is incredibly knowledgeable and works with you and your dog to find the best solution and training for your family!

I highly recommend No Barking Back. Reaba is wonderful person who understands what a dog is feeling and needs. We sent our 6 month old puppy for training. Ronin came home more confident, understood commands and just as important, Reaba helped me to understand how to direct him towards success. We took a walk on day one and there was no pulling, he was checking in with me… it was so much fun to be with him. Reaba was great to communicate with me during the week to make sure that she was training habits that would fit in our family and I could see how he was learning.

Reaba is quite simply "The Best" at both understanding and training dogs. Her capacity to quickly get inside the mind of your dog and use that understanding to bring about behavioral changes is amazing. We sent our adorable, but behaviorally challenged 10 month old Golden Doodle to Reaba for 10 days. He returned still adorable but clear that he knew he was no longer in charge. He fell in love with Reaba and clearly felt both safe and happy in her care.

No Barking Back has really made a huge difference with our dog Luna! We got her as a puppy from NBB and we couldn’t be happier. The personal touch Reaba provides is unparalleled and priceless. Any questions or concerns we’ve had about our dog’s behavioral issues, she’s walked us through patiently and thoroughly to their resolution. Not to mention, Luna is always so excited to visit her “second family in Graham.“ The whole team at No Barking Back is like family to us and we will always count on them for all our K-9 needs. Highly recommended!

I have a 4 months German Shepherd puppy and No Barking Back trainer in one week of puppy classes at their house taught my dog Gracie everything that changed her into a wonderful puppy. I am 70 years old and they know what they are doing. She trained only one puppy or dog at a time. Gracie has good mammer. Walk on a leash easy. Wait till I tells her to eat her food. Maximum stars for No Barking Back. This is a highly personalized program, and Reaba will not allow clients to fail. Before NBB, our Lucy (a rescue with no socialization) was reactive on leash and barked constantly at visitors. Reaba and Mike did a thorough consultation, by phone and at our home, before recommending a reset through board-and-train. Lucy was welcomed into their family, where she bonded with Reaba and happily learned how to behave--with our goals in mind. During that time, Reaba also involved me in the training, at various locations. Now that Lucy is home, I can text Reaba if we have a setback, and she will advise and sometimes meet up with us. It's a comfort to know we can now board Lucy at their wonderful home. Reaba is a remarkably gifted trainer and very generous with her time. NBB has been a gift to our family, worth every penny and more. Thank you!

Reaba of No Barking Back (NBB) is not only a true 'dog whisperer' but is also an outstanding teacher of humans. I know this because after reading five books on dog training, watching endless training videos and going to three other trainers, I still struggled with my two beloved, spirited Malinois pups. Only by going to NBB was I able to find the guidance that helped me to EFFECTIVELY communicate with my extremely intelligent and energetic babies. In addition to the tremendous help I have received with training at NBB, I have also come to rely upon the boarding as well. When I leave my dogs at NBB not only do I have complete peace of mind that they are safe and loved but that they are having a blast as well. My pups have been going to No Barking Back for both training and boarding for over a year now and I simply could not be more pleased with both services.

We just had our older puppy (9 mos) spend a week with Reaba and Mike. He’s a mini bernedoodle and was full of beans! He definitely knew he was the boss of me! And he had a bit of that stubborn streak of the Bernie. He would jump on people, incessantly hump other dogs, counter surf and run off with kitchen towels as well as any article of clothing! And walking him was a challenge. We now have him back home and he is so much calmer! He walks calmly on his leash by my side! No more running ahead and pulling! When our doorbell rang he didn’t bark crazily as before. And when we ate dinner on our deck, he lay quietly next to me and watched people walk by down the hill without barking at them! He was interested but quiet! He even let me brush him without much resistance. We had him out in a field and without holding his leash he followed me as I wandered around. I had him chase a ball and he ran off and when called to “come!” he immediately returned to me and sat. Now OUR job will be to keep working with him to reinforce it all! But what a great start! Many thanks for taking good care of him, Reaba, and for keeping us informed along the way with texts and great pictures and videos!! Highly recommend Reaba and Mike!

Reba and Mike are truly miracle workers. Our dog Benji was so reactive we couldn’t think of taking him out in public. Reba and Mike fixed him and today he earned his AKC good citizen award. A true accomplishment and we owe our success to Reba and Mike and no barking back

Such an amazing service and amazing family! Our dog had never been away from us before for a single night and they eased our anxieties and did such an amazing job caring for and training our pup! Will definitely be utilizing them again in the future!

If you’re considering dog training, I can’t recommend Reaba and Mike at No Barking Back enough. Our dog struggled with significant fear and anxiety. He was reactive to cars, visitors, car rides, and everyday noises. Walks had become stressful, car rides were chaotic, and daily life revolved around managing his anxiety. After just three weeks in the board and train program, the transformation has been incredible. He now walks calmly past things that once caused complete meltdowns, rides comfortably in the car, and approaches everyday situations with so much more confidence. Our pup is so much calmer and walks are much easier. Reaba was amazing throughout the entire process. She communicated with us every day through texts, photos, and videos, so we always knew how he was doing and what he was learning. Her understanding of dog behavior is exceptional, and it’s clear she truly cares about helping dogs build confidence—not just teaching commands. Before he came home, Reaba spent extensive time training us as owners so we could continue his progress, setting us up for long-term success. This experience has been very positive.
