I’m always impressed. He has helped to stay healthy during workouts, and to recuperate on times when I need healing. I’ve been working with Alan for over a year now and can say when I’m consistently going to him, my body feels amazing! I workout 5x/week and need to prioritize recovery in order to keep up my frequency. Alan is one of the pillars of my recovery. He uses active release therapy (ART) which has been really effective in releasing stubborn tight muscles and help me to achieve more muscular balance. If you have any aches, pains, or imbalances I highly recommend Alan!

Military vet with major back issues here, I reached out to Alan at Muscle Medic while I was going into crisis mode with deteriorated discs, hip, and shoulder problems. Alan got me moving again, relieved of pain, and walking normal by the end of our first session. Alan is a true pro, has expert knowledge of an anatomy and how to fix muscle issues. Alan has the strongest thumbs in Dallas! I am seeing him because I wanted a therapeutic massage as I wanted the results to last. And for that he has been phenomenal and I go every week because I have some long neglected mobility problems. I am so very much better. I highly recommend. And bonus - he is a super nice guy.

Olivia was very professional and communicated so well with me. She ensured I was comfortable throughout the whole treatment (I booked the oxygen facial for my acne). She also maintains a clean and relaxing environment. I’m writing this review the next day and my skin is GLOWING even under my makeup (I usually use a matte foundation). I recently had a 2 hour massage with Alan, and it was absolutely incredible. He is highly skilled with deep anatomical knowledge of not just the muscles, but the entire bodying including how the nerves impact mobility and tightness. Alan took the time to listen to my specific concerns and tailored the session in great detail to address my problem areas. The pressure was firm but never uncomfortable, and he checked in regularly to ensure it was just right for me. The massage not only relieved the tension and knots in my back and shoulders but completely released the tension in my left leg and hip which has been an issue for months. The massage left me feeling so much lighter and rejuvenated, like my feet could float while I walked. I could feel the difference immediately afterward—my range of motion improved, and the persistent aches I had been dealing with were significantly reduced. This was one of the best massages I’ve ever had, and I’m definitely looking to my next one. Highly recommended for anyone looking for effective massages to truly improve muscular alignment and mobility.

I’ve always had issues with finding the right masseuse who can “speak” to my body and know the right pressure and techniques to address my muscle pain and tension. I gave Alan a try and it was just a 30mins massage, he was able to relieve the tension on my neck, shoulder and upper back with no massage movements wasted! Everything he did targeted various points of the tensed muscle and I felt like so much lighter after the massage and can actually breathe. He is very knowledgeable about the muscle groups and trained for orthopedic/sport massage, plus he’s a friendly guy. I would strongly recommend him and hence leaving the 5 star review.

Oh my gosh!! Alan has the GIFT! I went in with almost frozen shoulder I’ve been suffering with for months and came out with perfect range of motion! Don’t hesitate on booking with Alan. I’ve lived to long with pain because other massage therapist couldn’t seem to find the right technique to help me. I’m 68 and have gone to sooooo many therapist and he is by far the most talented. I booked another right away just to keep up with my physical health. We don’t always do what’s best for ourselves because we’re so busy taking care of everyone else. Let me start by saying - I’m QUITE the massage snob. For context, I have scoliosis, TMJ, double jointed hips and shoulders, and am a physically active person who spends around 80% of my job sitting at a desk. I’ve had just about every type of physical work done on me. I’ve been going to a chiropractor for the past decade, have had lympatic drainage massages, cupping, Thai, deep tissue, Swedish - you name it, I’ve tried it. I last minute decided to get a massage and Alan had availability same day at the exact time I was looking for. When I tell you this massage gave me a spiritual rebirth, I’m not exaggerating. He did EVERYTHING. Dynamic cupping, lymphatic drainage, TMJ work, deep tissue, active release, EVERYTHING. I’ve had good massages in the past, I’ve even had great massages. Not a single one holds a CANDLE to the work Alan can do in one hour. My issues are deep under the surface, and I usually have to direct the masseuse or request more pressure because they glide over. Alan quickly found the problem areas and works completely through them. I wish I could come every day, but I unfortunately don’t live in the state anymore. I’ve so far told everyone I know about him and will continue to be envious of anyone who sees him until I return. Alan not only has phenomenal experience, but he has the medical understanding to support it. There is a true impactful method to his madness. He truly is the muscle medic. He has set the bar SO high for what a true massage should be, and I would be genuinely shocked to have a parallel experience from someone else. For my coffee drinkers and food lovers - you know that one REALLY good cup / plate you try that you continue to think about on a monthly, if not weekly, basis? The one you compare everything else you and you say “I just wish I could go back and have that again.” The Muscle Medic is this for me. You are doing yourself an unbelievable disservice if you pass up the opportunity to have Alan help you. If you’ve read this far and are still debating, I either didn’t do my job or you are voluntarily limiting yourself from experiencing bliss. And I know it’s not the former. Seriously, seriously, seriously, you need to see him. I live my life with no regrets. Now I have one, not having met Alan sooner.

Holy cow!!! This was hands down the most amazing massage experience EVER. I left feeling substantial relief in incredibly tight/knotted areas (shoulders, neck, hands, etc) that have been impeding on so much of my day to day routine for quite some time. I will probably never go to another masseuse ever again. Muscle medic was very educational and professional from start to finish, with great bedside manners and a very strong understanding of human anatomy. I loved how this was a combination of several different types of techniques all tailored to me and what my body needed. I cannot rave enough about my experience here.
