The Kinetisense Advanced Movement Screen (KAMS) is an advanced movement assessment. This assessment is a 12 Part Functional Movement Screen that scores each of the movements on a 12 point scale. This is a 20-minute assessment. If you reach the AMA guideline designated for the ROM being tested, you will score 100%. For each of the complex movements, you are scored on the amount and type of dysfunction present in the movement. The single leg vertical leap is based on normative data from NCAA male and female athletes. Our modules provide insights into human performance and injury risk, elevating athletic achievement and assessing injury prone areas so that you empower yourself and proactive.
The Kinetisense Advanced Movement Screen (KAMS) is an advanced movement assessment for high-functioning, independent living (IL), aging adults. This is a fast and reliable way to evaluate the movement abilities of aging adults. This 20-minute assessment allows for the detection of compensatory patterns that aging adults may have developed due to aging. KAMS IL is specifically designed for active and above, providing an objective assessment of their functional movement. KAMS IL is a workflow comprising 12 movements in total. The first four movements are multisegmented range of motion (ROM) assessments. These are followed by functional assessments, including posture angle, bilateral reverse lunge, four balance assessments and a 5 times sit to stand assessment. The individual scores from each assessment are combined to produce an overall score upon completion as well as a functional index and joint dysfunction map. There are over 250 joint dysfunctions that can be detected through this workflow. Our modules provide insights into human performance and injury risk, elevating athletic achievement and assessing injury prone areas so that you empower yourself and proactive.
