An extended version of the Much Kneaded Mash-up. This is a great service to select if you would like to combine modalities such as a therapeutic massage and cranial sacral therapy.
A “light-touch” method of evaluating and enhancing the craniosacral system – compromised of the membranes and cerebral spinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord. CST releases restrictions in this system, which has been shown to improve the functioning of the central nervous system, as well as many other systems of the body, including the digestive, muscoskeletal, respiratory, circulatory and more. CST also helps with the physical effects related to post traumatic stress disorder, depression, and anxiety.
Reflexology relieve stress in your body by gently stretching and massaging specific pressure points on your hands and feet. These pressure points can extend to organs and tissues that often times cannot be reached by a traditional massage. Start with a 10 minute herbal foot soak while your hands receive a mini reflexology session. Next, your feet will receive a session of their own. This will be followed by a paraffin wax dip on the feet, which helps keep the skin supple and soft.
Lymphatic drainage massage involves gently manipulating specific areas of your body to help lymph move to an area with working lymph vessels. This technique is ideal for post surgery swelling, clients suffering from water retention in the extremities (such as lower leg edema from chronic heart failure or the surgical removal of lymph nodes), chronic illness and fatigue, due to a sluggish, immune system, or a compromise thyroid. This modality requires the activation of lymph nodes; addressing those behind the knee, in the crease of the groin, armpits, and along the neck. Initial treatment requires a $10 charge for a dry brush used during the treatment that the client will then own.
This dry brush is required for the lymphatic drainage massage therapy. This brush will go home with you (it’s a great practice to dry brush every day for lymph movement!) and come back whenever you schedule additional lymphatic treatments. ymphatic drainage massage involves gently manipulating specific areas of your body to help lymph move to an area with working lymph vessels. Using silicone cups in both a static and gliding lifting technique, suction is applied on the skin to create a reverse pressure that helps to break up cellulite scar tissue and stubborn fascia. Blood circulation is stimulated and the fat and toxins that are released are moved to the lymph drainage network. This is target area specific and not a full body massage. For best results, 3 to 6 consecutive treatments will be needed.
