We had an excellent experience with Stay and Play Pet Sitting! Rick took amazing care of our three guinea pigs while we were away. He was professional, reliable, and kept us updated with messages and videos, which gave us great peace of mind. Rick truly went above and beyond, even making a trip to the store for supplies when needed. It was obvious he genuinely cared about our pets, and we came home to three happy guinea pigs. We highly recommend Stay and Play Pet Sitting and will definitely use their services again!

Absolutely wonderful experience from beginning to end. Stay and Play Pet Sitting is professional, reliable, and incredibly easy to communicate with. Everyone I interacted with was kind and helpful, but I especially want to thank Rick for the amazing care he gave my pets. Rick looked after my dog and my fish for nearly two months, and I could not have felt more comfortable leaving them in his care. He consistently sent me messages, photos, and videos, so I always knew how they were doing. Even while I was away, I always knew my little ones were safe, happy, and being very well cared for. He even went out of his way to buy high-quality food for my dog. Because the food needed to be refrigerated, he carefully packed it in a bag so the smell would not spread in the fridge. It may seem like a small detail, but it really showed me just how thoughtful, attentive, and considerate Rick is. I came home today, and my dog honestly looked like she had the biggest smile on her face. She was so happy, and it was obvious that she had been treated with genuine kindness, attention, and care while I was away. I’m truly grateful to Rick and the entire Stay and Play team for giving me so much peace of mind. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of my little family. We’ve worked with several different staff members, and every one of them has been professional, kind, and clearly passionate about what they do. Our pups absolutely love them, which is the best endorsement we could ask for! The interactions while we are away are always fantastic, but this most recent experience with Rick was especially amazing. He sent us just the right amount of updates, including videos with commentary that had us laughing and smiling the whole time we were gone. Not only was it entertaining, but it gave us total reassurance that our "fur kids" were being well cared for and were in great hands. Stay and Play Pet Sitting is an amazing pet sitting service. Melinda took very good care of our 1 year old Bichon at our hotel while we enjoyed our daughter’s wedding. She arrived on time, sent us pictures, and was attentive to Cookie’s needs. From the beginning of booking the appointments to saying good-by the whole experience was professional while feeling confident Cookie was in loving and caring hands.

We got married in October in Temecula and chose Melinda to help with our dog Lucas during our wedding. I can not express how amazing and helpful she was! Being an out of town bride, I was a little stressed and nervous on who to reach out to for pet services (especially since this was our first pet sitting experience) so when I did my search I was instantly impressed by all of her positive reviews. We had a couple of phone calls beforehand and she sent us some of her client reviews which made us feel confident we were choosing the right person! We set up a meeting when we got to town so she could meet Lucas beforehand. She was super organized and detailed in getting the information she needed about him, and although things were a little hectic around us, she made sure she took her time. She even asked what kind of attire she should wear during our wedding, which was really nice of her! Lucas warmed up to her in no time! We ended up booking Melinda last minute during our rehearsal day so Lucas could get more familiar with her before the wedding. She had various clients that day but was able to still fit us in to watch him for an hour or so, we definitely appreciated that!😊 The day of the wedding was smooth sailing! She helped guide our dog during our wedding photos and ceremony and later took him to pet sit him the remainder of the night. She made sure to send us progress photos and videos of him as well. My husband and I are so happy we chose her! She truly went ABOVE & BEYOND and Lucas really took a liking to her so who can ask for more! 😉She even mailed us a little gift after our wedding which was incredibly sweet! I highly recommend her to anyone considering pet services!!

I have 2 Goldens. Melinda and her staff have been taking care of them for 2 years now. My girls love the care and attention that they get when I can't be there. We could not be happier with Melinda's care and compassion for our golden retriever, Gracie, our cat, Scooter, and our home - inside and out! She was extremely organized, prepared, and took extra steps to make sure our pets and home were well cared for and safe. Daily photos and texts with each visit were a comfort when we were away. My husband and I needed someone to watch our kittens (ages 6-7 mo) for a few days of our wedding festivities and our honeymoon. I stay at home every day with the girls, which are Siamese mixed with torbie (a very human-dependent breed), so getting human attention for them is critical. We had Kat stay with them for most of the time and Melinda watch kitties on one occasion. Kat is absolutely incredible with the girls. Our little runt (two pounds smaller than sister and very uncoordinated) has even become more confident and stable on her feet due to Kat’s attention. She also let Kat pet her, something that she only allows with time/trust. Our more human-reliant kitten also appreciate her attention/focus and we came back to a house completely unscathed - telling me the girls felt they didn’t need to destroy anything for attention. We will definitely be using Kat’s services for any future needs. She’s incredible, took in our trash and mail. Told us we had ant issues and helped avoid further infestation. Offered to water plants. Our babies and our home were in good hands with her.

We have had a few pet sitters over the years, they either decide not to drive so far or will set up a date and cancel the last minute leaving us struggling to find someone for our 3 goldens. We hit the jackpot with Melinda. She came over, completed forms about each of the dogs, came prior to our vacation to meet them again and if any changes. I was so happy to get updates 3 times a day from her, plus pictures so that we could see how happy they were even though we were gone. Think they were sad when we came back. I have used Melinda now on 2 different occasions, cannot say enough good things about her - has even sent cards as a thank you with their pictures. She should really become a pet photographer too - she is great and I would definitely recommend her highly as does Dodger, Puna, and Maggie.

I just want to open by saying this will be our second time using the services of Stay and Play Pet Sitting and we cannot say enough good things about Stay and Play. On April 2nd, 2025, my husband was scheduled for surgery so we reached out again to Melinda requesting pet sitting. Melinda set us up with a meet and greet with Elise as Elise would be watching Emma for the day. The professionalism of staff at Stay and Play Pet Sitting is outstanding. Prior to the meet and greet, paperwork is forwarded asking pertinent details for your fur babies along with required documents of health records, along with likes and dislikes, etc. Elise is absolutely amazing and Emma just fell in love with her. Due to a last minute schedule change from the hospital, I had to ask if Elise could arrive at 4:00 AM. Both Melinda and Elise were so accommodating and Elise arrived at 4:00 AM to be with Emma. I cannot put into words how much that meant to us because it gave us peace of mind that Emma was in such good hands. When Elise pulled up, Emma was so happy and excited to see her. This just melted our hearts to see the two of them interact. We had zero worries and peace of mind that Emma was in the best of care which allowed us to focus on my husbands surgery needs. When we arrived home, Emma was so calm and so happy. I told Elise that she is Emma's bff for life. We only trust Stay and Play for our baby as the professionalism and care is outstanding. As I mentioned, when you leave, you know that your fur baby is in excellent hands. Elise thank you again for caring and loving our baby girl as you love your own babies.

Stay and Play pet sitting provides a professional experience that you can trust! From the first moment I reached out to Melinda to inquire about services to the very last day of pet sitting service they have been nothing but helpful and caring. We left our cat in the care of pet sitter Casey and she was fantastic! You can tell she has a genuine love for animals and she gave our Shadow so much extra love and attention while we were gone from home. We received many updates and pictures throughout the week. We never felt nervous or anxious about leaving her in Casey’s care. She left a very sweet note on her last day in our home and it was just an extra special touch to her service. It was nice to come home to a calm and well cared for cat! Casey was very professional and thorough at the first meet and greet appointment and that’s when we knew we were leaving our cat in great care. This was our first time using Stay and Play services but it certainly won’t be the last! We will recommend them to anyone we know who is in need of pet sitting services.

I can't say enough good things about Stay & Play Pet Sitting. Melinda is patient and has your animal's absolute best interest at heart. I found Melinda after feeling like we would never be able to go on vacation. We have two rescue littermates with fear reactivity. Finding someone who is open and patient to work with us wasn't easy. Melinda was patient with the dogs and us and came over every week to sit with me and the dogs to let them get used to her. She now is able to come do drop ins and overnights with them. I seriously didn't think I'd ever go on vacation again. I'm so grateful for Melinda and her incredible service.

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. That's been my husband and I's motto. Unfortunately, our last pet sitter experience prior to Melinda was a horrible one and we should have remembered our motto - -because it was at a cheap cost in exchange for very poor, horrific service to my dogs and my home. Melinda's professionalism and great attention to detail, her genuine care for our most beloved senior dogs enabled us to trust again. She stayed in our home for 7 days and sent constant communication, pictures, and video to keep us informed how our boys have been acting while we were away (they could be very nervous and restless). We were completely at ease knowing Melinda was there and she stuck to our detailed, meticulous routine which was of utmost importance. She even did a special video and gave treats to one of our pup's on his birthday! THANK YOU MELINDA! We can now travel stress-free. I absolutely adore Melinda! We have four high maintenance cats who can’t be left alone over night which has prevented us from traveling for years. They truly cared for her and grieved for her like she was their own dog. They continued to check in on me after Ellie's passing. The compassion and kindness they showed me speaks volumes to the character and heart these amazing ladies bring to caring for other people's beloved family pets. I have since adopted another dog and I'm so excited for her to be under these amazing ladies care.

I've used Melinda's services for almost a year now and she really cares about your fur family member. I needed her services last week last minute as I was getting induced for labor. She made no hesitation to come by my house twice a day and I ended up staying in hospital longer then I had planned and she came by to take care of my dog an extra day. She truly cares for your animal. Melinda let's you know when she arrives at your house and leaves. She also takes pictures of your dog so you can see your dog is doing great and is comfortable too. I highly recommend Melinda as I would not want anyone else to watch my dog. I even received a valentine's card with candy for me and treats for my dog.. she goes above and beyond.

My husband and I feel so lucky to have found Melinda. She cared for our cat Duncan with drop in visits when we were out of the country for two weeks. We recently used Stay and Play Pet sitting for our daughter’s wedding in Fallbrook. Our sitter, Elise was wonderful! We have a dog with separation anxiety so we were worried it wouldn’t work out good. Melinda is nothing short of amazing! It was first time I left my dogs, chickens, turkeys and ducks with anyone besides family. After a meet and greet I felt so comfortable and confident that Melinda would do an amazing job. While on my trip she sent me text and video updates. I would highly recommend Stay and Play Pet Sitting. They took care of my 3 dogs ( one that has medical problems) this past weekend and did a wonderful job. I got photos with every visit and my fur kids looked very happy and content. This was the first time in over 20 years that I had to have a pet sitter and I was nervous but after the report from the first visit I never had another worry or concern about my pets and how they were being cared for while I was gone. We got married in October in Temecula and chose Melinda to help with our dog Lucas during our wedding. I can not express how amazing and helpful she was! Being an out of town bride, I was a little stressed and nervous on who to reach out to for pet services (especially since this was our first pet sitting experience) so when I did my search I was instantly impressed by all of her positive reviews. We had a couple of phone calls beforehand and she sent us some of her client reviews which made us feel confident we were choosing the right person! We set up a meeting when we got to town so she could meet Lucas beforehand. She was super organized and detailed in getting the information she needed about him, and although things were a little hectic around us, she made sure she took her time. She even asked what kind of attire she should wear during our wedding, which was really nice of her! Lucas warmed up to her in no time! We ended up booking Melinda last minute during our rehearsal day so Lucas could get more familiar with her before the wedding. She had various clients that day but was able to still fit us in to watch him for an hour or so, we definitely appreciated that!😊 The day of the wedding was smooth sailing! She helped guide our dog during our wedding photos and ceremony and later took him to pet sit him the remainder of the night. She made sure to send us progress photos and videos of him as well. My husband and I are so happy we chose her! She truly went ABOVE & BEYOND and Lucas really took a liking to her so who can ask for more! 😉She even mailed us a little gift after our wedding which was incredibly sweet! My husband and I needed someone to watch our kittens (ages 6-7 mo) for a few days of our wedding festivities and our honeymoon. I stay at home every day with the girls, which are Siamese mixed with torbie (a very human-dependent breed), so getting human attention for them is critical. We had Kat stay with them for most of the time and Melinda watch kitties on one occasion. Kat is absolutely incredible with the girls. Our little runt (two pounds smaller than sister and very uncoordinated) has even become more confident and stable on her feet due to Kat’s attention. She also let Kat pet her, something that she only allows with time/trust. Our more human-reliant kitten also appreciate her attention/focus and we came back to a house completely unscathed - telling me the girls felt they didn’t need to destroy anything for attention. We will definitely be using Kat’s services for any future needs. She’s incredible, took in our trash and mail. Told us we had ant issues and helped avoid further infestation. Offered to water plants. Our babies and our home were in good hands with her.

We have had a few pet sitters over the years, they either decide not to drive so far or will set up a date and cancel the last minute leaving us struggling to find someone for our 3 goldens. We hit the jackpot with Melinda. She came over, completed forms about each of the dogs, came prior to our vacation to meet them again and if any changes. I was so happy to get updates 3 times a day from her, plus pictures so that we could see how happy they were even though we were gone. Think they were sad when we came back. I have used Melinda now on 2 different occasions, cannot say enough good things about her - has even sent cards as a thank you with their pictures. She should really become a pet photographer too - she is great and I would definitely recommend her highly as does Dodger, Puna, and Maggie.

I just want to open by saying this will be our second time using the services of Stay and Play Pet Sitting and we cannot say enough good things about Stay and Play. On April 2nd, 2025, my husband was scheduled for surgery so we reached out again to Melinda requesting pet sitting. Melinda set us up with a meet and greet with Elise as Elise would be watching Emma for the day. The professionalism of staff at Stay and Play Pet Sitting is outstanding. Prior to the meet and greet, paperwork is forwarded asking pertinent details for your fur babies along with required documents of health records, along with likes and dislikes, etc. Elise is absolutely amazing and Emma just fell in love with her. Due to a last minute schedule change from the hospital, I had to ask if Elise could arrive at 4:00 AM. Both Melinda and Elise were so accommodating and Elise arrived at 4:00 AM to be with Emma. I cannot put into words how much that meant to us because it gave us peace of mind that Emma was in such good hands. When Elise pulled up, Emma was so happy and excited to see her. This just melted our hearts to see the two of them interact. We had zero worries and peace of mind that Emma was in the best of care which allowed us to focus on my husbands surgery needs. When we arrived home, Emma was so calm and so happy. I told Elise that she is Emma's bff for life. We only trust Stay and Play for our baby as the professionalism and care is outstanding. As I mentioned, when you leave, you know that your fur baby is in excellent hands. Elise thank you again for caring and loving our baby girl as you love your own babies.

Stay and Play pet sitting provides a professional experience that you can trust! From the first moment I reached out to Melinda to inquire about services to the very last day of pet sitting service they have been nothing but helpful and caring. We left our cat in the care of pet sitter Casey and she was fantastic! You can tell she has a genuine love for animals and she gave our Shadow so much extra love and attention while we were gone from home. We received many updates and pictures throughout the week. We never felt nervous or anxious about leaving her in Casey’s care. She left a very sweet note on her last day in our home and it was just an extra special touch to her service. I found Melinda after feeling like we would never be able to go on vacation. We have two rescue littermates with fear reactivity. Finding someone who is open and patient to work with us wasn't easy. Unfortunately, our last pet sitter experience prior to Melinda was a horrible one and we should have remembered our motto - -because it was at a cheap cost in exchange for very poor, horrific service to my dogs and my home. I've used Melinda's services for almost a year now and she really cares about your fur family member. I needed her services last week last minute as I was getting induced for labor. She made no hesitation to come by my house twice a day and I ended up staying in hospital longer then I had planned and she came by to take care of my dog an extra day.
