I’m one of Mikayla’s “hot mamas” and as such, my Brazilian & Underarm combo is usually a very warm one. She knows this and she knows her clients! I can’t count how many times I’ve come to an esthetician (even as a returning client) and clung to the paper on the table (often having to peel it off me at the end of the service). The nerves were even worse when I wanted to let them know from the jump that they’d need the fan and plenty of powder but didn’t want to start the service negatively by instructing them on how to do their job. I NEVER have to tell Mikayla what she already expects (to have that fan ON and powder on standby when she sees me lol). She remembers and values her clients’ experiences, utilizes sheets and thus provides a much more luxurious feel, she’s highly detail oriented, and builds a sustainable rapport. I never realized how important that relationship is to help ease the nerves. She doesn’t make you feel judged, we yap, laugh and the service flies by. She is also passionate about what she does and providing REAL RESULTS—if you listen to her advice, there will be less pain, trust me. I had the coarsest, curliest, densest hair and with consistency there’s hardly any growth by the time I get back on her table. Well to say my experience was amazing is an understatement! She’s fast, extremely knowledgeable, makes you feel like you have known her forever, helps you feel so comfortable, and is extremely reasonable with pricing! I used to get so much irritation from waxing, and I woke up this morning with none of that. If you live in or close to Lexington you need to go see her! She offers other services as well that I’m sure she’s just as wonderful at. I will follow this girl for life to continue having the same great experience I did yesterday!

I had the most amazing and relaxing facial when I went to MB Skin and Body. I enjoyed it so much that I scheduled a complete dry exfoliation treatment for the rest of my body. I had never had that before, but highly recommend it. The face cream that MiKayla used for my facial was so lightweight and non greasy that I asked if I could order some for home use. I am now an avid and loyal customer of not only the face cream, but the toner. If you are looking for a professional skin care specialist I highly recommend MB Skin and Body.
