Camp Take & Train is a service to guardians who take my advice to NOT send their pup to daycare or go to dog parks. It allows your dog to stay at home and still gain the benefits of socialization & enrichment. Camp Take & Train sessions are designed to provide dogs with necessary, age appropriate enrichment and training to introduce or maintain the behaviors you'd like to see more. Depending on client needs, Camp Take & Train activities may include: 1. In-home manners, stationing, and targets 2. Delivery person adjustment training (DAT) 3. Neighborhood socialization and loose leash walking (LLW) 4. Veterinarian happy visits 5. Nosework games 6. Predation substitute games 7. Park meet & greet socialization games 8. Out & About cafe manners & public socialization 9. Service dog task training 10. Therapy dog socialization games
The My Community Canine Training Field is designed for the enjoyment of humans and their dogs. It's secure perimeter and soft footing are designed for dogs to run, jump, play, and explore. Not just for practicing dog sports, the training field is also a safe neutral place for dog to dog introductions. Some dogs are not completely comfortable with other dogs at first. Frustration can be caused by being on leash while being introduced to other dogs and this may manifest in aggressive displays when in fact your dog simply may be uncomfortable and need help learning social skills. Activities available include: – Recall games to repair and strengthen your recall cue. – Dog to Dog introductions for fosters and new adoptees. - ACE (Animal Centered Eduation) free work - Puppy proprioception and play. - Predation Substitute games. – Agility skills. – Rally obedience coursework – Scent Work games.
