We can't recommend Brittni highly enough! Before working with her, Mocha had very poor recall, especially around water, and once she was swimming, she simply wouldn't come when called. Walks were equally challenging; it felt more like our Rottweiler was walking us. What truly sets Brittni apart is her ability to train not only the dog but also the owners. We had very little training experience, yet she patiently taught us how to communicate with Mocha in a way that was clear, practical, and easy to apply. The improvement in Mocha's recall, leash manners, and overall responsiveness has been incredible. Brittni is incredibly knowledgeable, approachable, and always willing to answer questions, no matter how big or small. She never makes you feel intimidated and genuinely wants both you and your dog to succeed. We are so grateful for everything she has done for Mocha and would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for an exceptional dog trainer.

Brittni's Puppy Manners class worked wonders for our super excitable yellow lab / golden mix rescue pup. I really like that she let us bring our young kids so we could all learn about dog behavior, body language, and the things us humans (especially tiny humans) can work on to make dog ownership fun for everyone. Brittni starts things off simple, focusing on getting your dog to recognize their name and focus on you before getting into more advanced training such as hand signals, verbal commands, impulse control, recall, loose leash walking, etc. She does a great job of helping people realize that puppy training is a process that takes continual positive reinforcement, and to expect incremental (not overnight) progress. I've been practicing what I learned in the class with our pup, keeping training sessions short and fun, and am seeing real results. I highly recommend it!

Brittni is absolutely AMAZING. She takes the time to get to know you and your pup and is incredibly knowledgeable about canine behavior. You can tell that she is passionate about what she does and cares so much about fostering healthy relationships between owners and pups. She has helped me lose the perspective of needing to assert dominance and demand over a pup to reinforce good behavior. She has taught me how to nurture positive behavior through a bond of trust and partnership with my pup. I will be forever grateful for Brittni and her guidance. I recommend her services over all others!

Brittni is such a fun loving, knowledgeable dog trainer. We experienced her 6 week puppy training class and puppy meet ups helping us socialize our puppy. We look forward to further classes as our puppy moves into his adolescent stages. I highly recommend Know Better Do Better Dog Training.

We loved working with Brittni! We attended private puppy sessions and the puppy group dates. With the private puppy sessions, we were really able to learn our dog's specific behaviors and what to do with a new puppy! The puppy group dates were AMAZING for socialization and taught us so much about our dog! Highly recommend Know Better Do Better!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We took our puppy Bruce to the puppy training classes with Brittney, and it was fantastic! We learned so much — and so did Bruce! I was so proud of all the progress he made over the several weeks, and it was amazing to see all the other puppies improve too. Brittney is patient, knowledgeable, and makes training so much fun. 100/10 would recommend Know Better Do Better Dog Training! Plus, it’s super affordable — such great value for the experience and results. 🐾

Deb & I haven't had a dog for 15+ years never mind a new puppy, but having Brittni on our side to help with her excellent training, patience's made it feel easy. Parker, our Golden Retriever is not 1 year and 4 months and so much fun. We thank her everyday when we see other dogs with the lack of her training.

We have been working with Britney for about two whole years! She has been my pups favorite person from the very start! There is always so much to learn each and every training session we have. Brought my 3.5 mo old Golden Retriever for puppy manners class. It was such a positive experience and a great starting point for basic training. My dog loved the sessions and interacting with the trainers and other puppies.

Brittni takes a whole pup approach. We've discussed nutrition, grooming and training. She given me good instruction on how to keep our training moving forward.

5 Stars is not a high enough rating for Brittni. She is absolutely incredible, very knowledgeable, compassionate and always positive in her help for both dog and human. She has been such a key for us and integral in our almost 2 year old girl becoming a happy, polite, socialized and confident dog. Brittni is amazing!

My husband and I recently adopted a rescue dog and started working with Brittni to help his transition and head off some issues. She really knows her stuff and explains the big picture of "why" really well, both for training structure and general dog behavior. I love that she came to our home and was able meet us in our usual environment. I would absolutely recommend KBDB training to other dog owners!

Despite having dogs my whole life, I’ve never worked with a trainer before. I just wanted to nip some things in the bud with my rescue, so I decided to reach out to her…and I’m so glad I did. Brittni was awesome! She spent a lot of time talking with me, asking me questions and answering mine. Brittni is undoubtedly patient, kind, and understanding, and takes the time to communicate about questions and concerns which is greatly appreciated, especially when you’re dealing with a dog who has some issues during the training process. I can tell that she genuinely cares about dogs and helping dog owners, which is something that unfortunately can’t be said about some other dog trainers out there. Her empathy and willingness to take the extra time to offer support and guidance means just as much to our family as her impressive skills as a dog trainer. We wholeheartedly recommend her.

I’ve had the opportunity to meet with Brittni a couple of times, and she’s helped me do amazing things with our dog! We haven’t been able to resolve some anxiety issues before working with her, but now we see a surge in confidence and a huge jump in willingness to do what we ask, even after just 2 sessions. This is incredible because our dog is almost 7, so she really is an “old dog learning new tricks,” and she’s loving every step of the way. I imagine that we will soon be able to ask the dog to do tasks that were previously unthinkable, and I’m so grateful for that opportunity!

Brittni is AMAZING. I have an 8mo “kindergarten grad” who was ready for some next steps. I also have grandparents in my home who aren’t responsible for the dog. She was able to provide some training steps that are very manageable for the whole house (dare I say exciting…got some human buy-in too). H is well on his way to not pummeling others, coming when called, and listening to those beyond his owner. It’s seems so easy to kind of know what to do, but I was just missing the mark. I sincerely appreciate the redirection and steps I learned. Easily worth the $. More than 5 stars 🤩.

It was a great experience for me and my puppy! Britt did an excellent job of paring up compatible older puppies for playtime! She took the time to assess each puppy to know their play style and comfort level with other puppies! She also passed on valuable information and advise to the puppy parents (owners) to help with future interactions with other dogs! One of the best dog trainers in the area in my opinion! I would recommend her for all your puppy/dog problems or to just brush up on training skills for both you and your furry friend!

Brittni is a fantastic dog (and perhaps more importantly, human) trainer! I really appreciate how she breaks down every behavior and comes up with creative games to build towards what the owner is looking for. She also helps break down the science of dog behavior and operant conditioning, which helps me as a handler reframe my expectations and better understand my dogs’s needs. I love that she holds group classes, as the exposure to other people and dogs is a skill in and of itself, and I can learn a lot from watching classmates too. Whether you have a new puppy or a want to work on your dog’s behavior, or even just try something new, I recommend KDBD!
