We’ve used Karen for our dog training for years and she is absolutely the best. The whole family have learned so much. I highly recommend you give her a try.

I have known Karen for about two years. After getting my Cane Corso I needed a place to train and socialize. Her facility is built for just that!! She has indoor building heated for the cold months and has a gated area outside to work the dogs. Karen has many many years of knowledge. She also breeds and shows beautiful AKC Rottweilers but has vast knowledge of all breeds. I am super grateful that I have met this lady and I will continue to take all my Corso they’re no matter how good they get!!! Thank you Karen we all love and support you so much

I have to say I’m so grateful to Karen! We brought a rescue in for a short Time, not realizing it would ruin the dynamics of our lab and our pit-bull who were best friends. The rescue was a very needy, pushy dog when it came to me and my partner, our other dogs felt like they had to stay away because she would step between them growl or try and Start a fight. The Lab was like whatever…but my girl, my pitty princess who had never been aggressive or in a fight in her life was growled at and then bitten. That of course led to her defending herself. Needless to say the rescue was immediately removed from our home, but the damage was done. I called Karen hysterical because our pity princess was now trying to fight with our lab when he would get close to us. It was absolutely devastating to our family & we weren’t giving up on our dogs. Generally, when a pitbull fights, there’s no going back, but thankfully, she had never been in a fight prior to this and is the most loving loyal dog you’ll ever find & smart!! Karen gave us some great direction, walking them together, keeping them apart little bits of time and getting them trusting each other again. Karen told us to see a vet which we did. They put both dogs on Prozac. She Did warn us that it might not ever be the same again and we might have to make some Hard decisions. Well, I’m pretty stubborn so in that moment, I was like nope I’ll do whatever it takes to get my dogs to love each other again and trust each other again. BUT… here we are several months later😁 They are best buds again. It took some hard work. We walked them. Our pitbull had a muzzle on for a long time. She’s smart enough to know, though she hated the dang thing! So If I started to see her hair hackle at all, I would pull out the Muzzle and say we’re being nice!! We kept them separated for a long time, her in my son‘s room him in the living room then we slowly started bringing them out to be around each other. We made them get on the bed with us mind you the pitbull had her muzzle on all the time we started moving their food bowls closer together, we started letting them play with a muzzle on we started making them stay together on the couch. We very much had to encourage peace and it was a lot of work and a long time they eat together now side-by-side again they are currently sleeping right next to me on the couch together. They sleep in the same bed together. They play all the time again our hearts are so full!!!! Thank you, thank you!!!

Amazing experience. Karen is very knowledgeable and strives to make all dog and human experience postive! My husband and I have been regularly taking her classes once a week. Starting with puppy 1, Puppy 2 and currently in her Whistle Recall. Her facility includes a heated indoor, and fenced outdoor area. We learn something new every class and always have a postive time that brings my dog closer to us. I have watched time and time again Karen tailor specific lessons to each dog needs to create a better understanding. Definitely recommend giving her classes a try!

Professional and knowledgeable, Karen is a great trainer for dogs and their humans. Excellent resources (indoor and out door training spaces, handouts, advice on leashes, toys and treats) make it a one stop shop for training your pet from puppy to show and performance. Highly recommended.

I took my Springer Spaniel puppy for two rounds of dog training with K9 Kapers in 2015. I had an overall positive experience. When I checked their website recently for information to give a friend for recommendations, it didn't appear to have been updated for several years.

Have been training for years with multiple dogs. Karen is great with worried dogs and very energetic ones. all the dogs have LOVED class and Karen. Recommend highly!

Love the small classes and individual attention each pup gets. Never thought our pup could learn so much so fast! Karen is a wealth of information and support!

We enrolled our puppy for the kindergarten training. Paid $125.00 for 6 classes...sounded like a good place to train due to other reviews. Wrong...our puppy did get 4 lessons but on other lessons it was a no show with not even a phone call to let us know. Trainer was unreliable and when we did talk to her she stated she had medical issues and had no answer as to why she didn't call. So after driving all the way there nobody showed up. Live and learn.

On the advice of my girlfriend I needed more training and thought I would get it at K9 Kapers, but I quickly came to realize, I was too much dog for the trainer

Trying to enroll my dog in training, left several messages, not a phone call back…I guess they just don’t need the business guys!
