Jessica was amazing. She trained me how to train my dog and always has great suggestions for bad behavior that make sense. The most knowledgeable dog trainer I have ever used. I highly recommend private sessions. It was great to have customized training for my dog.

Jessica is an amazing trainer. I got a new puppy and wanted to teach him some obedience. Jessica explains everything very well, answers all the questions, finds the correct approach. We’ve had such an awesome experience with our dog trainer, Jess! We rescued a 4-month-old puppy who came with few behavioral challenges leash pulling, being scared and shy in new situations, and getting pretty wound up and overstimulated. As new rescue parents, we knew we needed guidance to help her build confidence and good habits. After just four training sessions, the improvement has been incredible. Our pup is already walking so much better on leash, showing more confidence, and settling down more easily. The transformation in such a short time truly exceeded our expectations. We had a great experience with Positivity Dog Training both at the puppy socialization classes and during the private sessions at our house. The puppy socialization classes were just what our Dalmatian needed at 3 months old—exposure to other young puppies in a safe and controlled setting. We learned a lot of good tips from Nicole during these group classes, and she was very understanding and helpful when our puppy got overexcited. After we finished puppy socialization classes, we started private training at home with Jess. She was amazing with our puppy—not only training him but also equipping us with the tools and skills to further his training on our own. Our puppy has made strides since starting with Positivity Dog Training and we are now more confident pet owners!

Jessica is amazing!! She's an excellent, adept trainer. Extremely patient and understanding. She helped me with personal training sessions for Matilda, my new rescue dog, that I thought was reactive. Jessica got us on track after just one session. She came to my house and even worked with my other dog. Turns out my other dog Arthur was the reactive one lolll. So Jessica worked with both of them and helped to show me how to handle each differently. Thanks for Jessica's training, Matilda even gets to jump straight to intermediate group classes! Jess was able to give us wonderful advice for our training our dog to loose leash walk (and a few other things!). There is so much information out there about training your dog and it is hard to wade through it all. Jess is a grade-A trainer. Our bernedoodle attended her puppy socialization class which allowed puppies to be around other puppies during the key socialization period. We then opted to join her basic puppy training class and were very impressed. She was prepared, professional, understands dog behavior, patient, and does a great job articulating dog’s interpretations of their owner’s commands/behaviors. On top of all this, her services are at incredibly reasonable prices.

Outstanding. Jessica was incredibly patient with our dog having impulse control issues and some fear issues. Very patient with us also, as new dog owners. We loved the positive approach and it was an excellent choice to work with her. Rosie is a happy girl!

Jess is an amazing trainer! We joined her puppy socialization class a few weeks ago with our 11 week old corgi. The puppy socialization is an amazing class to have your puppies in. Not only do they get to play with other puppies the same age they get to learn puppy cues from each other. Jess also takes the last part of the class (about 15-20mins) to do a little leach work and training. I highly recommend Positivity Dog Training and I look forward to puppy classes starting.

Jess took the time to get to know our dog and suggest training solutions based on our dog’s personality. Previous trainers had generic training suggestions that never worked. With Jess’s help, we solved our dog’s food guarding issues, as well as other behavior issues. She’s patient and kind and truly cares. I’ve been recommending her to all my dog owner friends. Best dog trainer I’ve ever had.

If you’re looking for basic and intermediate training for you pup, I highly recommend PoSITivity Dog Training! They also offer socialization meetups for the younger puppies! We have a fear aggressive pup that went through the training. Jess was super patient with her, helpful with different techniques, and suggested ways to best manage how to control the challenging moments. By the last class our pup came out of her shell a bit and felt confident for the first time! I can’t say enough good things about this class and about Jess. Our new rescue pup was terrified of any new experience. With Jess’ guidance, he is starting to enjoy walks and going on car rides. We couldn’t have gotten to this stage without her.

Great class for puppies to get acquainted with other dogs and learn different play styles/personalities and social cues. The trainer was so good with noticing and managing all of the different puppy personalities and redirecting when necessary. Highly recommend!

Working with Jess for a handful of private sessions has been great! She is very adept at reading canine body language and explaining it to the humans. I appreciate how she met us where we were at (having already been working on this issue for over a year) and proposed some creative approaches to helping my dog improve his leash reactivity, including doing some practice sessions around her dogs. I’d definitely recommend working with Jess if you're looking for a flexible, personable, and knowledgeable trainer.

Just finished the Intermediate dog training class and it was great! Jess is such an incredible dog trainer. She was very patient and knowledgeable. There was a noticeable difference with our pup from his first day walking in, to his last. Would highly recommend this class for anyone considering it. Working with Jessica was such a great experience. I was overwhelmed and frustrated with my 9 month old Lab/GSD’s leash walking and reactivity and was starting to feel hopeless. From the get go, Jessica was hands on, patient and flexible. Unlike previous trainers, Jessica helped us find some creative solutions and advocated for my dog when she was over threshold and too anxious to learn. Jess is a top-notch dog trainer! I chose the private lessons for our 1+ yr old lab mix. Jess' vast knowledge was above and beyond. Not only did she provide the training tools, she gave a lesson on "why" to use the tools. This information really helped me to best work with my dog. I'm excited to know my "wild dog" has a good foundation to be a "good boy"! It's nice to know Jess is only a phone call away if we run into trouble.

Great experience. Jessica is an excellent trainer who helped our dog with behavioral issues during in house training sessions. Our dog is doing much better and interacting with out other dogs as desired.

We have done four sessions so far (with more planned). I have a leash-reactive dog and have worked previously with a force free trainer as well as reading a bunch of books, but after a while we plateaued. What Jess has helped with is putting all of those specific drills together into a training plan for my dog that actually makes progress. She's very creative in her training approaches and spends a lot of time getting to know your dog and tailoring drills. Definitely recommmend!

Jess is a fantastic dog trainer. Gentle and kind but knows how to read the dogs and their behaviors. Her years of experience and knowledge base really shines. She always had answers to any question I had. We did the puppy socialization class and the basic class. Our dog was shy, scared and unsure of everything before our classes. Now he is confident and knows all his basics: sit, down, stay, place, relax, come, roll over, loose leash walking and more. Its amazing what a few weeks of dedication and a great instructor can do for your dog. I plan on taking the intermediate class at some point.

We absolutely loved Nicole for our basic training class!! Our JoJo learned so much and gained confidence through this course. Nicole was a rock star and I would highly recommend going through training with her!!

This was our first socialization experience and it was great. All the dogs and their humans played well and got along. We also got to work on some training reinforcement exercises, which was great. My dog had a great time and was thoroughly stimulated. Will do again!

I had an awesome and educational experience at our first session. Taz is 13 weeks and was very nervous around other pups and people, but Jess was very interactive and had a specific interest in each puppy that came through the gate! The whole session was diverse in the exposures that Taz was offered and he left feeling much more confident and very happy around others!

Jess was such a great resource for the basic obedience series we completed with our 4 month old Australian cattle dog puppy, Shiloh. We learned so much, and Shiloh enjoyed the classes as well. Such a positive experience for us all! Thanks Jess!

I adopted a very large, very silly 5 month old Bernedoodle with no training and little socialization. Classes with Nicole have made our walks & playtime so much more fun! Nicole is phenomenal at meeting the needs of the dogs (and humans) individually and as a group. She is encouraging & positive even with my pup & his brother as the class clowns.

These classes were a great opportunity to introduce my puppy to the wider of dogs and their owners. Jess taught us much about both dog and human behavior. I highly recommend.

We had weekly homework assignment printouts so we could reference them at any point, and are proving to be helpful even after our pup graduated. This training was exactly what I was looking for. And Nicole was wonderful, knowledgeable and kind to recognizing that our little furry needed a different approach. As an abused, rescue pup, she is nervous and afraid around people, and by the end of the classes she was way more confident, and relax. Every week she was really excited to go. Jessica is a miracle worker! We had such a hard time training our puppy at home, but when she was at retaining with Jessica, she was an angel! Jessica also provides home services, and really helped us with our dog’s separation anxiety. 10/10 recommend!

Loved this training experience. Nice small classes which allowed for plenty of 1-on-1 while also allowing for group socialization. Jessica was a fantastic teacher and I feel confident that I have the tools to keep working with my puppy as she grows. Would 100% recommend.

Our dog Maury loved going to training every weekend. We think Nicole is a great trainer and Maury came a long way in 7 weeks. We recommend PoSITivity Training as an excellent place to take your puppy. We plan on continuing training with them.

Jessie was excellent and I’m so glad I called her for training. I paid for the 4 pack in home training as it’s in my house I have to main issues. She will space the training accordingly. Week after week or lengthen it by your needs. I’ve already seen huge changes with my cavachon and warming up to new people in our home. I feel like I have the tools I need to turn things around. And will look at group training maybe in the future. Very grateful for the help

Snowy my 6 month old lab great pyrenees mix had a wonderful time and I as the owner learned so much. I look forward to signing up for the intermediate class after a short break.

I found the class to be extremely helpful even with older dogs that need to learn new tips! I plan to enroll both my dogs into additional training courses.
