I practice Bhakti Massage, taught to me and Bhakti Academe, School of Intuitive Massage and Healing. My clients experience this style as a very slow flowing glide or effleurage. A Bhakti Massage has FIVE CONSTANTS, they are: LOVE, I pray for the Holy Spirit to flow through me and into you. ATTENTION, to allow for guidance and intuition. MOVEMENT, a bare minimum of starting and stopping. PACE, slow. Sometimes so slow it's hard to perceive. PRESSURE, is more precise and less painful, Due to the constant movement and slow pace, large changes in pressure are sometimes imperceivable. A 45-minute session will typically be performed ( unless otherwise instructed ) on a client who remains face down. Three of the many reasons why you may want to book a 45-minute massage are: 1. As an introduction to my massage therapy. 2. If you only have a short block of time such as a lunch break. 3. You only want work done on a specific area such as your back, neck, shoulders, and/or limbs. You may be surprised at how relaxed you'll feel after just 45 minutes. Remember, an additional 30 minutes gets added to every massage booked, at no cost to the client. This ensures that all clients are afforded ample time to receive every hands on minute that they have purchased.
