Canine neuro-myofascial release (CNMR) is a therapeutic technique used in veterinary medicine and physical therapy for dogs. It is similar in concept to human myofascial release but is specifically tailored to address issues in the muscles and fascia (connective tissue) of dogs.
CNMR can be used to address a variety of issues in dogs, including musculoskeletal pain, mobility problems, post-injury or post-surgery rehabilitation, and even behavioral issues that may have an underlying physical component. It is often employed as part of a comprehensive rehabilitation program for dogs recovering from injuries or surgeries.
