Joy is an absolute pleasure to work with. She cares for my cat daytime and overnight when I’m out of town. You can observe how much she loves animals through her interactions. Joy is professional, attentive, caring and prompt. She is friendly, thoughtful and smart. I would highly recommend her.

We’ve only met with Joy once so far, but we were really impressed by how much knowledge and helpful advice she shared during her visit. Having her come to our home was especially helpful because she was able to see how our pup behaves in his everyday environment and give us tips specific to what we were experiencing.
We’ve been working on implementing the feedback she gave us and have already noticed some improvement. We still have plenty to work on, but that first session was incredibly helpful and gave us a much better understanding of how to support our pup.
I had to cave and get a dog trainer to help me with my 5 year old poodle. The trainer made my dog look like she had been doing these behaviors all along.

Joy has been the best at taking care of our cat Nimbus. Joy has provided many enrichment activities and is great at giving updates with many photos! Joy is timely on feeding, making sure our demanding cat is happy. Nimbus has always been excited to see Joy, and we trust Joy with cat-sitting for all of our trips.

I love finding different ways to keep her busy and enriched—although it’s still ironic that something as simple as an ice cube can be such a hit! 🧊

Joy has the unique ability to bond with the animals with whom she works. She has taken care of my cats on numerous occasions. Not only is she responsible and dependable in her care of them. She also spends lots of time playing and snuggling them. I can tell they love and trust her by the way they immediately go to her when she walks in the door. I’ve also seen Joy in action training dogs. Again, she has a strong bond with them and is able to quickly teach them new skills and behaviors. Joy is very impressive in her ability to work with animals. And on top of all of that, she’s funny and kind…..great with people too!

I highly recommend Joy for any and all things related to animal care and training! I have worked with Joy for several years and can attest to her trustworthiness, honesty, and, most importantly, her patience with animals of all personalities and temperaments.
I have an adult cat that I adopted as a stray, and she is incredibly timid, especially around new people. I have had to leave her alone several times and have hired Joy to care for her each time. To my amazement, Joy was able to gain my cat’s trust within just a few days and even sent me pictures of my cat sitting on her lap! Whenever Joy comes over now, my cat comes out to greet her, which she does with no one else.
There is truly no one I would trust more to care for my cat. Joy is reliable, compassionate, and wonderful with animals. I cannot recommend her enough!

Knowing how timid and selective she can be with people makes it that much more special when she comes out to greet me or curls up on my lap.
