Tamara is thee absolute! I have been getting sugared (wax) by for over a year now and I am so happy I found her when I moved back up this way. She is such a Doll and literally goes out of her way to make sure her clients are comfortable and well taken care of! And please let’s not forget how clean her studio is, you walk in and it just instantly gives you peace! Book her but don’t take my time slots lol

Tamara is an incredible aesthetician who gives considerable thought to each client. Her soft, feminine energy is super comforting and you can absolutely rely on her for all your waxing/sugaring needs. She’s done a fabulous job on laminating my brows as well. The lamination helped improve the appearance of my fading micro-bladed brows. I’ve been a loyal client with a sugaring subscription for around 8 months now and wouldn’t dream of going elsewhere!

If you’re looking to try sugar waxing, I absolutely recommend you book with Tamara! She is so wonderful, and does an amazing, speedy job every time I book with her :) I’ve been using Bold Skincare and Spa for a year and a half and won’t be going anywhere else for sugaring, such a fan of the studio atmosphere, bomb playlists, and cute snacks for the road!!

Booked my first appointment with Bold Skin Care & Spa for a brow wax, and tbh as a man I never had my eye brows waxed before. But let me tell you, Tamara made it an unforgettable experience. She’s very meticulous, knowledgeable, and professional. Not only was the wax a 10/10 experience, she took it a step further to recommend a skincare routine that I’ve been struggling with. As a man I only used a face wash and kept it bare minimum. But she offered a step by step guide on keeping a healthy glowing skin. Then to top it off, they offered me a first time client discount of 25% off, and that spoke to my frugal side. At that point I signed up for the monthly membership, so I can continue to save. Highly recommended for all genders, and ask Tamara about the skin care routine. Tell em’ Charlie sent you haha.

I’ve been getting a Brazilian and my armpits waxed since October, and I can say I feel comfortable every time! The waxes are always quick and nearly painless. The monthly package with the autopay option makes it even easier as the money comes out directly without thought. I’ve found my waxed for life ❤️ and highly recommend her!

Tamara is the bomb. She runs a clean, peaceful, relaxing spa. She is the only one that I see for my Brazilian waxes. She makes me feel comfortable with my lady parts out. She is fast, and she gets all of those stubborn hairs off. I've been to a few places, trust me when I say, she's the best.

Painless and perfect

Poor business practices. Bold skincare does not provide new customers with a good booking experience & care quality. They cancelled a third party deal after one was purchased without honoring the deal accepted beforehand, not how you handle these things & does not make a good professional first impression. Hopefully they can learn from this experience & apply it going forward!

Poor customer service. Gave me issues about scheduling an appointment because of the holiday weekend. I called to scheduled and they avoided my call, but messaged me through text. Chose a different day to schedule and had my appointment booked for a weekend where they said my groupon could be used. Randomly the following week they cancelled my appointment because they didnt want to accept my groupon after it was purchased and an appointment already booked. As an Update: I am a recent college graduate of Temple University who was just looking to save some money. The companys' response of "client interactions that don’t align with the standards of care and respect we maintain for our loyal clients." is insensitive and classist to associate negative behavior of clients with a coupon. None of my interactions with this business were disrespectful. You can even read on Groupon the great reviews this business has and the appreciative company responses. It's unfortunate I could not receive the same care and respect.
