BEST HAIR AND MAKEUP ARTISTS EVER! I have used Beauty Concepts 22 as a bridesmaid AND a bride and have been beyond happy every time! They have truly made my girlfriends and I feel like MODELS. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone!đ I have never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day! They took what my vision was and perfectly matched it.

Michelle is absolutely incredible! I was in San Antonio for a gala and discovered her through Instagramâshe was so responsive and easy to work with from the start. She arrived early, carried herself with such professionalism, and was also so warm and friendly. Michelle understood my vision perfectly and took her time to ensure every detail was flawless. I received countless compliments throughout the evening on both my hair and makeup. Michelle did a total of 20 services for me and my mother-in-law, and we genuinely loved each and every one of our looks. My mother-in-law was especially nervous about getting her makeup done since sheâs not used to wearing much, but Michelle made her feel completely at ease and really listened to what she was comfortable with.
She also showed up on timeâif not earlyâto make sure everything fit smoothly into our schedule.

Michelle & her team are amazing!!! I was so thankful to have Michelle take care of me, my mother & my two sisters for my 3 day wedding. I first met her a few months prior when I completed my makeup trial, she made sure she listened and remembered all the important details! It made everything so easy for the actual wedding weekend. Her work is so beautiful and the application lasted us 12+ hours for each event. She was always on time, prepared, and such a lovely person. Her team took care of my MIL & my other bridesmaids the whole wedding weekend as well. Everyone looked soo stunning and was always on time. I used to be nervous about getting my makeup professionally done, but Michelle & her team went above and beyond. Will definitely rebook them for any other special occasions!! Thank you again!
I have almost been going to Michelle for over 10 years-everything from prom, senior photos, to my wedding yesterday! She is the most down to earth person and my family has enjoyed getting to know her as well. She is very attentive and pays attention to every detail. If it were anyone else, Iâd be scared to even trust someone with my hair and makeup. With Michelle, itâs a different story. Michelle always gets it right and has me leaving confident and beautiful. She not only gets you picture perfect with blowout and makeup but even squeezed in a trim and styled my hair in layers giving me the volume of a 20 yr old. I try watching all she uses so I can replicate the look at home, but the truth is, I canât. Her talent is on another level. She got the magic hands:)

Melanie Trevino did make up for almost the entire bridal party for my cousins wedding. She was very professional and did a great job! Our makeup stayed on and didnât smudge one bit throughout the night! I totally recommend her for makeup for any occasion!
I've had my makeup done by Melanie for my engagement photos, bridal photos and for my wedding. She always puts her all into her work and amazes me every single application. You will not be disappointed if you book her for your wedding or any celebration! She is the best!

Leslie and Sandy were outstanding! Their calm coolness was so appreciated on an otherwise hectic day. I really wanted a polished but natural look and sandy and leslie absolutely delivered. The trial, booking, and day of details were all efficient and organized. I really appreciated their professional and friendly service. This is definitely a premium vendor compared to some of the other quotes I got, but paying a little more sure felt worth it for a once in a lifetime day. I loved my final look and would highly recommend beauty concepts from start to finish.
Michelle and the girls at beauty concepts are by far the most talented make up artist in San Antonio, we have use their services several times (businesses photo shoots , weddings etc ) and their work is always flawless. The girls are Super professional and puntual. Highly recommend this place.

Had my makeup done by alexa she was very detailed and very nice would recommend 100% my makeup lasted all night.
I've had my hair braided twice here and both times I was very pleased. Mrs. Valerie and her girls take good care of the clients and make sure they happy with the end result.

My makeup and hair came out exactly as I envisioned! I got so many compliments all night! Love the products she used and my makeup lasted! I also ask a lot of questions about the products she used and sheâs always patient and answers my questions haha
Michelle was great! She fit me in as a trial last minute, and I was happy to have her help the morning of my wedding! She listened on my changes I wanted to make for day of makeup, and she also did my grandmothers hair that is short, and unruly! All around a great time, and the service was the same! I hired Beatty Concepts after a recommendation since my makeup party was out of town, and I needed services for my wedding. I paid $580 total (with a discount), which included the trial and wedding day.
Michelle did a good job with my hair, and I appreciate her professionalism. Unfortunately, the makeup did not meet my expectations, especially on the wedding day. The colors used felt very classic and aging, making me look older than I really am, rather than fresh and bridal.
At one point, my sister had to step in, lend her own eyeshadow, and help guide the look, which added stress on an important day.
Because of the makeup result, Iâve honestly hesitated to post many of my wedding photos. The pictures are nice, but I joke that maybe the makeup didnât photograph well, because Iâm barely in them đ

Overall, I appreciate the hair work and the discount, but for the price and importance of a wedding, I expected stronger makeup direction and a more modern bridal look.
My hair was amazing but hair stylist was 20 minutes late and ended up needing more Bobby pins because she was rushing. The make up artist messed up my eyeshadow the first time but then fixed it. When I left the building my face was completely orange and started cracking. She forgot to set it again when I left. When I got to the place I had to reset my foundation and erase the blending as it wasn't my color. It was around 150 and it all was just done unprofessionally. Was not worth the time or money.
Horrible experience for my sisters wedding.
-During the makeup trial that my sister paid $200 for she was constantly answering and talking on her phone. Very unprofessional.
- Personally hated my makeup, she made me look like a drag queen. I specifically asked for natural makeup and even my fiancĂ© said I looked like black swanâŠ
-She arrived at 12pm for a 6pm wedding to do 5 girls makeup. She didnât manage her time well (talking to bridesmaids) and my sister the bride was not done until 6:30, making her late for her wedding.
- She brought a separate lady to help with hair who had to leave to pick up her kids. While she was doing my makeup she was bold enough to tell me âpeople who have weekday weddings just donât understand we still have to pick up our kidsâ- When youâre paying thousands of dollars for a vendor, I think itâs fair to assume a vendor would have personal arrangements made for something planned well in advance.
Would not recommend for such an important day.
Michelle knows exactly how to RUIN a bride's wedding! BY NOT SHOWING UP AFTER TAKING AN ADVANCE. I got married last weekend at the Riverwalk and had given $90 advance to Michelle for my hair/makeup. I had 3 other family members getting makeup and hair done from her. But guess what!! She NEVER showed up!
No calls, no emails, no messages!!! Not to mention she NEVER apologized and NEVER contacted me back AFTER taking my money. Just 2 hours prior to my wedding ceremony my mother-in-law mentioned that Michelle is not there and is not even answering her phone. It was a disaster!
I WOULD HIGHLY ALERT EVERYONE ABOUT THIS FRAUD SERVICE BEING RUN BY "MICHELLE" AT BEAUTY CONCEPTS SALON.

I'm sorry to hear that but this is not the way we do business. We do not accepts deposits without signing a wedding contract for our services. In this case there was not no contract. And we did not have the commitment of complying with date of event.
You and your wife Moni can always stop by at the salon and discuss this event.
We called and text Moni several times and we never received an answer from her.

Michelle cancelled on me the day of a wedding, I arrived at the time of my appointment & I called her & sent her a text, there was no answer. I called her about 7 times & phone would go straight to voicemail. I waited for a while & tried to keep calm as I knew there was a lot of traffic out there. However, she never answered, BUT she did text one of her coworkers. Her coworker proceeded on telling her I was waiting for her & all she replied was âI canât work todayâ. I understand things happen unexpectedly, but I would have appreciated if she would have acted as the adult that she is, and communicated with me on telling me she wasnât going to make it. At least maybe apologizing. Itâs been about 4 days & never heard a word from her.
Donât rely on her if you have something important.
Not to mention I had confirmed with her that week about that day & she had agreed
I don't have you as a client with a contract. All brides paid a retainer and have a contract and for the same reason I have a team that can cover me in case of emergencies. Its not my fault if you were cheating by making a appointment for a makeup application (non bridal ) with out confirming day and time with the owner. All brides get confirmation, a beauty timeline, final invoice and unlimited communication prior the wedding.
