Therapeutic coaching services are a personalized form of guidance aimed at helping individuals achieve their personal and professional goals. Unlike traditional therapy, therapeutic coaching doesn't focus on diagnosing or treating mental health conditions. Instead, it centers on the client's present and future, providing support and motivation to help them navigate life's challenges and make constructive changes. In these sessions, the coach collaborates with the client to define clear goals, develop actionable strategies, and create a roadmap for success. The process involves exploring personal values, strengths, and aspirations, while also addressing any obstacles that may hinder progress. It's a partnership where the coach offers objective, non-judgmental support and encouragement, helping the client to enhance their self-awareness, improve decision-making skills, and increase overall life satisfaction. Ideal for those seeking to improve their life balance, achieve specific objectives, or make significant life changes, therapeutic coaching is a dynamic and empowering tool for personal development.

A job analysis is a process that will identify and determine in detail the particular job functions and activities, interactions within the physical environment, work conditions, requirements for a particular job, expected or desired productivity, vocational qualities, and the relative importance of all these factors combined. The process of a job analysis involves collecting data on a job or occupation and making judgments about its relevancy. While data may be collected from incumbents through interviews or questionnaires, the product of the analysis is about specifications of the job, not a description of the person.
The formal transferable skills analysis (TSA) process vocational evaluators use consists of compiling occupations from the U.S. Department of Labor's Dictionary of Occupational Titles (DOT) to represent a person's work history. They analyze the work activities (work fields) a person has performed in previous jobs, along with the objects on the work activities were performed on (materials, products, subject matter, and services, or MPSMS). They use these data to identify a set of occupations a worker should be able to perform. Assessment results for reasoning, math, and language skills as well as aptitude test results can be used to increase or decrease vocational options. If the worker has been injured or otherwise disabled, their residual functional capacities can also be considered by the worker traits associated with their DOT work history. Care must be taken to select the DOT occupations that best represent the jobs the client has performed successfully in past work.
Vocational disability research is a type of research that focuses on understanding how people with disabilities are able to access and retain employment. This research focuses on identifying the challenges that people with disabilities face when it comes to employment, as well as providing evidence-based solutions to those challenges. It also looks at how different types of disability can affect a person’s ability to work and how to best support them in their job search and career development. This research is important to help understand how to best support people with disabilities in their vocational goals and to create a more inclusive workplace. Through this research, we can create better systems and policies that ensure that everyone has an equal opportunity to find meaningful and gainful employment.
Vocational file review is an important part of the vocational rehabilitation process. It involves looking at records related to an individual's employment history, educational background, vocational skills, and other factors that impact their ability to obtain and maintain employment. The file review helps the vocational rehabilitation counselor to assess the individual's strengths and weaknesses and to determine the best course of action to help them achieve their employment goals. During the file review, the counselor will look at the individual's work history, education, and any related vocational training they have received. This information will help the counselor to identify any employment barriers the individual may face and to develop a plan to address these challenges. The counselor may also review any relevant medical or psychological records to better understand the individual's condition and to assess the impact it may have on their ability to work.
Immigration Evaluation
A psychological evaluation may be important in proving that an immigrant's removal would result in great hardship for a US citizen or legal resident family member. A comprehensive psychological evaluation can substantiate a family member's need for emotional support, caregiving, and/or financial aid. Additionally, it can be significant in forecasting how separation will affect the family member's social and emotional functioning. If you are filing for an i-601a waiver or have received a request from your attorney for further evidence in support of your application, a psychological evaluation may be necessary to demonstrate the hardship your family would endure as a result of a traumatic separation from a family member. A psychiatric evaluation may also be beneficial in cases where a spouse or family member is currently residing in another country (i.e., is divorced) and is deemed inadmissible to the United States (i-601 waiver).
