WHAT TO EXPECT
• Before: Avoid caffeine day of your appointment. Avoid use of acne medications for 2 weeks prior. Avoid retinol and extoliants 3-5 days prior. No blood thinners. No chemical peels/ other tacial treatments 2 weeks prior. No facial hair removal methods 1 week prior.
• During: Service starts with a double cleanse of the skin. A numbing cream
is then applied to the face for comfort, followed by microneedling with a specialized device.
• After: Avoid putting anything on the skin for 24 hours (this includes water).
• What to expect within the first 24-48 hours:
• Mild redness (similar to a
sunburn), tightness, dryness, itching, light peeling/flaking, sunburned feeling. Redness typically subsides within 24-48 hours. Other symptoms can last up to 7 days. Keep your skin protected with SPF and hydrated/moisturized.
• Avoid excessive sun exposure,
always wear SPF!
• Avoid any rigorous activity that will make you sweat for 24-48 hours.
• Avoid actives/ extoliants for 7 days.
• Avoid makeup first 3 days
