Ali is an amazing person to work with. She understands dogs and has truly helped me understand my dog so much better! I appreciate that she tailors her training approach based on the dogs needs and is always there to answer my bajillion questions. I truly think with her training that I was able to bond with my dog and she shows him so much love to! Boston and I are huge fans and think you will too!

Ali is the best!!!!!! She has helped me with a bunch of different foster dogs with their quirks. Ali has helped with leash manners, crate training, potty training, reactivity, and so much more! She always conducts herself with confidence and professionalism. She is super knowledgeable, especially on reactivity, which is her specialty. She is also not afraid to ask for advice from peers when she needs a second opinion. I highly recommend Ali and For Them Dog Training!!!!!!

Ali did a great job with reactivity training for my rescued mill momma. She was very patient with my dog and had reasoning for each training method and why we did each skill. I highly recommend her for your dog training needs!!!

She took the time to understand my dog’s personality and tailored the training to fit our specific needs. The techniques were positive, effective, and easy to continue practicing at home. I saw noticeable improvements in my dog’s behavior and confidence in a short amount of time—and our bond is stronger than ever. Communication was excellent, scheduling was flexible, and every session felt supportive and encouraging. We fostered many dogs and Ali not only helped us with all of them, she also helped us with our “foster fail”, Dutchess, who is a spicy old lady :) Dutchy’s preferred method of correction when it came to our other dogs was her two and a half good teeth, so Ali helped us start to finish with muzzle training and then safely re-integrating Dutchess into our family pack. I literally don’t know what we would have done without Ali’s help!!!

As a PHBT adopter (Huck, formerly Capt'n Crunch, cereal litter), I'm grateful to have come across For Them Dog Training's account. I find their content and videos so helpful! I've invested a lot of time and energy training dogs over the years and can say the methods and approach Ali has is spot on! She shares in a way that's practical and easy to follow. I'm not that close to the business so I haven't used Ali directly for my pups, but I would hire her in a second without hestitation. Sidenote- I love that she practices what she preaches with taking in so many fosters. Incredible!

Ali does a fantastic job training. Knox really needed to work on his basic commands- he is a very good and calm dog but learning things like stay, place, etc. needed to really be worked on. Doing a board and train really helped with these commands because Ali devoted the time to work on things in a home atmosphere. When Knox was finished she provided the tools and information needed to continue the training at home. Ali and Brianna are also quick to answer any questions during and after the program.

Ali did a fantastic job of teaching our new pup, Choso. Choso had some problems when it came to being around new people and being exposed to new places. With Ali’s help Choso has made significant improvements, and even now continues to make improvements from the techniques that Ali left at our disposal. I would rather no other trainer for any dog, seeing as how good Choso’s behavior has changed.

I can't thank Ali enough for the incredible work she's done with my anxious pup, Ollie!!! From the very first session, it was clear that Ali was not only highly skilled but also compassionate and patient. Ollie has struggled with anxiety for some time, but with Ali's expert guidance and personalized training plan, we've seen such a positive change. Ollie is now muuuch more confident and comfortable in many situations that used to trigger his anxiety. The training sessions were informative, fun, and tailored to Ollie's specific needs. I highly recommend Ali to anyone dealing with anxiety or behavioral issues in their dog! Ollie and I are both so grateful for the improvement not only in his behavior but also our bond... Maebh had an excellent boarding experience with Ali and even got to do a bit of training. Maebh is dog selective and slow to warm up to people, so it was very comforting to know she was being cared for by someone who really understands those quirks and how to best handle her. We are so grateful to For Them Dog Training for our recent boarding experience.

Ali and For Them Dog Training has helped us tremendously with our puppy, Fizz! He was an anxious mess with a lot of separation anxiety before he went to training. He also pulled like crazy on the leash. After a month of board and train, Fizz’s confidence has boosted tremendously, he’s an angel in the crate, and I can now walk him without him pulling my arm out of my socket! On top of this, they were very responsive to my worries about leaving him there for a month, I received all answers to my questions with professionalism and grace, and felt confident bringing the skills he learned in training back home with an amazingly thorough discharge plan. I cannot recommend For Them enough!

While I haven’t worked with Allie directly, I’ve used so many of her tips and tricks, reached out for additional guidance and picked her brain in a million ways! She has always been an incredible human, lover of animals, and supporter of fur parents wanting the best for her dog. My guy struggles with confidence and in turn reactivity and Allie is a wealth of knowledge in this area! I can’t wait to finally book with her now that I’m done school and have the additional time and resources! I can’t speak highly enough of For Them Dog Training and everything they do for the community!

Ali is kind, compassionate, and balanced in her approach to training dogs (and people) she is not just a trainer but someone whom has done it all, gone through what you’re going through, and has likely had first had experience with just about anything you throw her way behaviorally. When we were freaked out by our newly adopted dog’s behavior and reached out to the rescue, Ali immediately contacted us and asked how she could help. I went from crying from the stress of the situation to feeling such a weight lifted off of us while cuddling our calm pup on the couch. I couldn’t have kept him without Ali’s help, she gave us the confidence in ourselves and in our dog plus the knowledge to help him thrive. We only had two sessions with her but she made herself available to us and we are beyond grateful. He’s still a pain in the butt sometimes but he’s trying! Thank you Ali and Brianna !

Ali has helped us so much with our wild and crazy pups! She came to our house and made all of our training sessions fit with what we wanted to work on and was always open to making changes if we wanted to work on other things. She trained not only our dogs but also us on how to work with our dogs ourselves! I would recommend her to anyone looking for a dog trainer, she is awesome!

When we first foster failed our pup Jelly Roll, we wanted to get him into training to have him be his best self. Since working with Ali, Jelly has gone from obsessing over eating leaves and barrelling down the sidewalk to being full engaged with us and walking in at our side. His confidence comes out more each day as we practice the drills Ali has taught us! We have also attended group classes with both of our dogs and our dog Theo who is reactive thrived with Ali’s help! I have loved seeing Jelly blossom and can’t wait to keep working with For Them Dog Training!

Ali is the best! I have had my dog for 8 years and over the years have done many different attempts at training, but nothing stuck until Ali came to help us. She is so good at analyzing and patiently explaining a dog’s behavior and motivations for acting a certain way. The energy she brings to training allows you to feel comfortable asking questions and allows space for your dog to make mistakes and grow from them- and she offers tons of resources to support the journey! It has been such a relief working with her, and I am just so beyond grateful for all of her help. By far the best investment I’ve made in a long time and worth every penny!

Highly recommend Ali! I have two large dogs who have completely separate issues. My one dog was awful on a leash. I could barely walk him. Ali taught me how to better communicate with him during our walks, and also introduced us to different types of collars and leashes, and we are finally able to enjoy walks while also walking with a loose leash! My other dog is extremely mouthy. With Ali’s guidance, I now know how to diffuse the situation when she becomes overstimulated. We also muzzle trained her which has been a huge help. So grateful for For Them Dog Training!

For Them and Ali has helped me and my family so much. When I first adopted my cattle/pit mix, he was reactive on leash to anything that moved and was very fearful meeting new people. He had bitten two of my kids and a few other people who came over to meet him. After working with Ali, I understand what my dog needs, has worked through a lot of his fear, and finally can trust him around my friends and most importantly my kids. His quality of life has improved since working with Ali and I no longer stress about what my wild child of a dog will do in stressful situations. Her approach made training feel like something I can add into my busy life, rather than changing my entire life around his behavior. I cannot recommend Ali and For Them enough!!!

Piper and I had a great experience with Ali and her puppy training skills. She really listened to what I had to say and gave great feedback and suggestions. For them dog training went above and beyond to help us in our struggle w our pup. They were helpful and thorough. They commiserated and had personally experienced the same difficulty we had with their own resident pup which made it more personal feeling. We trust them w our dogs and we are grateful for their help w our personal dogs as well as all they offer publicly for free and for rescues. We didn't feel judged by them, instead we felt understood and connected and were given realistic tools to help our dog succeed.

Ali and her team did a wonderful job helping train Obi! The board and train program was the best decision we made! Obi is now less mouthy, easier to redirect during walks and play time, and has learned to read cues from our senior dogs. Ali also guided us through the process of integrating Obi into our family. Would highly recommend For Them Dog training!

I can't recommend Ali and For Them dog training highly enough! She completely changed life with my anxious dog. Ali is my go to for training with my foster dogs. Not only does she help my dogs with their issues, but she helps me understand why they are behaving or reacting the way they do, which helps the training stick for both of us. Her level of care and compassion for every dog she interacts with is absolutely above and beyond.
