Evaluation of the owner/dog team for service task training. We look at what task is needed for your disability as well as what public access training is needed. There will be observations of the dogs behavior to see if they are suitable for service dog training in and out of the home.

In- Home Training Consultation (60 minutes) A one-hour in home consultation focused on understanding your dog’s behavior in their everyday environment. We will review your main concerns observe relevant behavior and create a clear practical training plan tailored to your goals. This session also helps determine next steps and whether ongoing training would be appropriate.

Behavior Modification Consultation (Zoom) A 60-minute virtual consultation to assess your dog’s behavior, review history and contributing factors, and develop a customized behavior modification and management plan. The consultation includes discussion of training strategies, environmental management, and practical recommendations tailored to your household and goals. A follow-up written summary and training plan will be provided after the consultation.

Puppy Training Consultation (Zoom) A one-hour consultation designed to help you set your puppy up for success from day one. We’ll cover house training, puppy biting, crate training, and alone time, along with how to structure your puppy’s day and set up your home environment. You’ll also receive guidance on early socialization and what to prioritize (and what to avoid) during this critical stage. This session is designed to give you a clear plan so you’re not guessing once your puppy is home. Follow-up handouts are included for house training, puppy biting, crate training, and alone time.

Separation Anxiety Training Consultation (Zoom) Separation anxiety in dogs can cause behaviors such as vocalization, destruction, and scratching at the door. It can be very stressful for both the dog and owner. A consultation to go over what is happening when the dog is left alone and to observe a controlled departure so we can see what the dog does when you leave. We discuss how separation anxiety training works and outline the next steps based on your dog’s situation.

4-Week Separation Anxiety Training Program This program is designed to help dogs learn to feel safe and comfortable when left alone. Training begins with a review of your dog’s history, current behavior, and the information gathered during the Separation Anxiety Training Consultation. Based on that information, a customized training plan is created specifically for your dog. The training is done by gradually exposing your dog to being left alone, starting at a level where they are comfortable and slowly increasing that time over the course of the program. Progress is monitored through regular assessments to ensure your dog remains comfortable throughout the training process. The program includes weekly online meetings, live assessments, a customized daily training plan (5 days per week), feedback on daily homework, and ongoing support throughout the program. During the consultation, we’ll discuss your goals, answer your questions, assess your puppy in the home environment, and develop a training plan tailored to your puppy’s temperament and your lifestyle. The goal is to give you a clear plan and establish a strong foundation for success while preventing common behavior problems before they become habits.
