Environmental Management, Inc. Overview

This course is intended to prepare painters for the requirements under Alaska Statute: AS18.63.010.- 100 for painters utilizing paints that contain hazardous materials. These include paints containing lead and solvents, for example, toluene, xylenes, isocyanides, epoxies, and acrylics.

Prohibited from the meaning of dangerous paints are water-based paints, for example, latex. Students should send certification of this training to the State of Alaska Department of Labor within 30 days of completing training. Province of Alaska accreditation lapses after three years.
