K-9 Obedience Club of Jacksonville, Inc., (K9) is a Florida Corporation that was founded in 1951 and as of June 27, 2025 was designated as a public charity non-profit that is eligible to receive tax deductible bequests and gifts under IRC 501(C)(3). K9 is a 100% volunteer run organization whose Constitution and By-Laws reflect its commitment of promoting the welfare of dogs through educating the public to become responsible dog owners, and to promote amateur dog sports. The formal documenting of our volunteer organization to this purpose was a natural extension of our commitment and is representative of our decades of work to the Jacksonville community.
