During this in-home evaluation, we focus on how your environment and your daily interactions with your dog affect their behavior. We will discuss the relevant facts, details, and nuances that affect your unique situation and provide a verbal diagnosis of your dog's behavior and the proper course of action moving forward.

During the intro session portion of the evaluation, we will advise you on the following:

In the following sessions, we will focus on creating a home environment that is more calming, obedience training, and carefully controlled exposure to triggers. It's essential to recognize that behaviors like barking, lunging, jumping, and biting indicate deep-seated stress and anxiety in your dog when faced with specific situations. Your dog's "aggressive" or reactive behavior stems from certain objects, beings, or situations triggering these emotions. However, it's possible to help your dog transition to a calmer, more content state of mind. It's completely understandable to feel overwhelmed and at a loss when addressing your dog's behavior at this stage. The good news is that change is possible, no matter how challenging the situation. 🐾 Short-Stay Board & Train (Less Than 2 Weeks)

For families who want professional support but don’t need (or aren’t ready for) our full 2-, 3-, 4-, or 6-week Board & Train programs, we offer a limited Short-Stay Board & Train option.

This stay provides immersive, hands-on training, structure, exposure, and in-home practice — all the benefits of our Board & Train program, just in a shorter format.

Your dog will work on:
✨ Foundation obedience & manners
✨ Leash skills (loose leash → beginning heel)
✨ Place/stay & impulse control
✨ Confidence building + proper greeting routines
✨ Real-world exposure and neutrality
✨ Household skills and daily structure (crate, thresholds, calm behavior, routines)

IMPORTANT:
Because stays under 2 weeks are not appropriate for all dogs,
📞 Please contact us BEFORE booking to confirm your dog is a good fit for a shorter stay.
Suitability depends on: age, behavior goals, history, temperament, and whether your training goals can be met within a reduced timeframe.

To make your Board & Train experience as smooth as possible, we offer complimentary pick-up and drop-off for your dog at the client’s home or an agreed-upon meeting location. This dedicated time slot ensures your trainer can safely and calmly transition your dog between environments without adding any extra tasks to your day.
