The Behavior Consultation is designed to delve into the underlying reasons for your dog's inappropriate behavior and provide a diagnosis to help make impactful changes. In the following sessions, we will focus on creating a home environment that is more calming, obedience training, and carefully controlled exposure to triggers. It's essential to recognize that behaviors like barking, lunging, jumping, and biting indicate deep-seated stress and anxiety in your dog when faced with specific situations. Your dog's "aggressive" or reactive behavior stems from certain objects, beings, or situations triggering these emotions. However, it's possible to help your dog transition to a calmer, more content state of mind. It's completely understandable to feel overwhelmed and at a loss when addressing your dog's behavior at this stage. The good news is that change is possible, no matter how challenging the situation. We are here to provide you with a precise diagnosis of the issues, their underlying causes, and the steps needed from you to bring about effective and lasting change in your dog's behavior.

During the intro session portion of the evaluation, we will advise you on the following:

-House rules for your dog
-Feeding advice, times, quantities, locations, and rituals
-Home environment changes to help support positive behavior from your dog
-Nutritional and exercise guidance
-Dog toys and equipment we recommend
-What immediate changes can be made to help support
