This 8-week foundations class is designed to teach you a clear, effective communication system that works for dogs of all ages within the 4.5-month to 3-year range. It’s the same system used by top sport trainers, police K9 handlers, scent detection trainers, and anyone looking to build solid, reliable obedience in their dog. We utilize your dog’s natural motivation—food, toys, and play—to create engagement and make training both productive and enjoyable.

This system is used to teach:

• Down
• Heel
• Recall
• Place
• Loose-leash walking

Our program also helps address common behavior issues to ensure well-rounded, real-world obedience.

At the end of the 8 weeks, we’ll evaluate your progress and determine readiness for the Intermediate Obedience class.

The intermediate class builds on the basic obedience class, adding new skills, duration, distance, and distractions. Each skill has a practical application. You must have passed one of our basic obedience classes or completed private lessons to attend the Intermediate class.
