We’ll also incorporate some supervised play, so your dog must already have experience playing appropriately with other dogs in a daycare or puppy class setting.

If your dog hasn’t had this type of group play experience, please email or text us first—we can help you decide whether this class is the right fit or if our Basic Manners class would be a better starting point.

Let’s Talk Dogs is a monthly gathering for anyone who loves learning about dogs—owners, trainers, rescue volunteers, veterinarians, and the simply dog-curious. Each session features a short, engaging talk from a local expert, followed by casual discussion and connection with others who share your passion for dogs. Topics vary each month and may include canine body language, enrichment, training techniques, behavior modification, rescue and shelter work, or everyday tips for living harmoniously with dogs.

This isn’t a lecture—it’s a conversation. You’ll have the chance to ask questions, swap stories, and meet other dog lovers in a friendly, inclusive space. Whether you’re a seasoned trainer, a new puppy parent, or somewhere in between, you’ll walk away with practical ideas and fresh insight into the dogs we love.

Let’s Talk Dogs meets the second Tuesday of every month at the brewery next door. Each session runs about an hour, with time for mingling before and after. Drinks and snacks are available for purchase, and attendance is free.
