A pre-surgery lymphatic drainage helps prepare the body for surgery. This is achieved by stimulating the lymph vessels of the lymphatic system to eliminate cellular waste products, viruses, excess proteins, bacteria, excess fluids, or any other unwanted substances from the spaces between your cells and by cleaning your body tissues.
Pre-surgery lymphatic drainage significantly minimizes the risk of post-surgical complications that may occur, such as scar tissue formation, infections, and bruising. Additionally, after the lymphatic massage, surgeons have an easier time making an incision through the well-drained tissue.
