AWMAI was established to empower advanced women martial artists through paths of learning, training, ranking, networking, and professional recognition. Knowledge shared teacher-to-teacher adds power to the individual and raises the whole world of martial arts.

The association consists of a worldwide network of cultivated and high-aspiring women who share a passion for martial arts, and a desire to see each other succeed. They welcome all styles and branches of martial arts and self defense, and all levels of teaching experience – from newcomer, to part-time, to seasoned professional.
